This was my 3rd time dining at the new location. 2 out of those 3 times, our service wasn’t so great. It just seems like everyone is unamused and is not passionate about working here. You don’t really feel welcomed at all. We waited over 10 minutes for our drinks when it wasn’t even busy. We were never asked how our food was after it was brought out. We had to flag someone down at the end for our check and boxes. As a person who is a part of the foodie community, I have supported this business for a while now. I’ve recommended it to so many people. I have brought family, friends, and coworkers. I absolutely love it here and the food is always outstanding. The vibes are just so off and I’m truly hoping it starts to come around. I never want to bring a business down but I just want them to be aware and it seems like other people are feeling these vibes as well.

Vibe is upscale and not your typical gaudy decor that is used in many Mexican restaurants. Menus is just right and not overwhelming with choices. Food is outstanding, fresh ingredients, bright flavors and neatly plated. Service is friendly but a bit slow when busy BUT they are new in this location and likely still getting their feet under them. We will be back many times!
Second visit yesterday and food was delicious. My wife had a bowl and I had classic tacos…all very tasty.

Cmon yall. $18 for this quac. You guys give a great portion for less in restaurant. I order DoorDash and this is how much you give? That’s not even two avocados lol. At least fill up the container. Definitely won’t dd again.

Super disappointed with our latest experience at comalli. We always loved their old location and their food has always been great. However, we went to their new location for the first time on Saturday evening, at 5:30 pm, with a group of 8. We of course were expecting to have to wait given that it was a Saturday and we had a large group. They estimated a 45 minute wait which was no problem at all. We went to grab a drink somewhere else, while waiting, and came back around 6:10. Our table wasn’t ready yet which was fine. By 7:00pm, our group still had not been seated and ended up walking out. We talked to the hostess several times who could not give a better idea of further wait time. While we waited, we watched them take at least 5 tables upstairs to make room for an “event” (DJ?) they were having in the middle of the restaurant. The hostess acted like she wasn’t even aware of this event or that they were going to clear tables. We also asked to get at drink at the bar, while we were waiting in the restaurant, in front of the host stand, and were told that we had to be seated, at the bar, in order to get a drink, which of course was full. I’m sure we’ll be back to try again but definitely left a poor impression with their new location.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The decor is poor, I suppose they just readapted the former Beer Wall, but not really invested in design and atmosphere.
My major disappointment was with the food. We ordered tacos and they arrived cold and far from what they should look or taste (we’re from Mexico).
And the staff seemed untrained and unmotivated. We had our food but no cutlery, difficult to get someone to help.
All of the above are fixable. I hope to return and find a better experience.

Comālli might be my favorite taco shop in the whole world! Their Brûlée and Lengua tacos are amazing as is their guacamole.
This place is great whether you eat in or take it to go but I definitely recommend eating it fresh! We also ordered the nachos, which were delicious but massive.
The service was not great and we waited almost 20 minutes for our bill.
I would give this place six stars if I could. Definitely check it out if you are in town.

The owner of Comalli is amazing. He pursued his dream and accomplished it with the restaurant. The food is so delicious! It’s hard to decide what to order because everything is so good. The new restaurant is beautiful!
