Drove all the way from Mason, Ohio for Fish Dinner at LJS…it was wonderful as expected. Clean restaurant; clean restrooms. Great tasting fish…love the 3 piece batter fish; the hushpuppies; the Cole slaw; the waffle fries. My wife enjoyed as well. 15+ miles one way. Wish they were in the Mason Area!

Food is always good here!! My fiance were in 2/14/2026, gentleman that was working that night was very rude, we we walked in the dining room. Was apparently closed we didn’t know that cause the door was unlocked, he asked if we went through the door we said yes, then he went to lock the door and said it’s been a hectic day and can’t believe that people lowered the bar to eat at Long John’s on Valentines Day, said it pissed him off. Did not get the gentleman’s name but we will never be back in again after that experience, we walked out didn’t even order any food.

Do not go to this place unless you want to waste your money!!! While placing our order they had our food already on a tray ready for us. When we sat down to eat the chicken was nothing but rubber and the hush puppies/cheese curds was nothing but mush. Absolutely disgusting food!!

Friendliest service. Definitely under good management. Always greet me with a smile. I sometimes swap out the chicken on my platter for clam strips and they accommodate. Last few Christmases I’ve made a point to stop in as they decorate for the holidays. Great location
