BEST ITLIAN IN DURHAM!!!!
They make the BEST calzone around.
Their pizza, their pasta…it’s absolutely delicious.
This place has been around for 50 years – once you eat here, you’ll understand why.
The owner is personable and interacts with the customers. The environment is family friendly. But I seriously can’t put into words how good this food is. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out.

Italian pizzeria in Guess Road has been my favorite Italian spot for a long time. The food was great. I just picked up my usual order, stuffed shells, and it’s really different. The sauce is not nearly as good as it used to be and instead of ricotta they have some filling that is not ricotta. it’s still taste. OK, but not great and definitely not high-quality ingredients.
I wonder if there’s new management or ownership? I hope this is just a glitch and not something that will persist. But I did notice. It was really not busy in there, I’m wondering if I’m late to change for the worse… I hope not.

I ordered Chicken Alfredo!!!!! It was absolutely worth every penny! Portion size was plentiful with a side salad and knots! Wherever you are located, south, east, west of Durham, the drive is worth the drive!

Ordered dbl cheeseburger extra cheese. It was suppose to come with lettuce tomato and mayo? I got meat and cheese nothing else. Did I read the online menu wrong? Onion rings were hot and delicious that’s why I gave two stars. Very disappointed today with this service. Smh. At least my order was half right.

This is our first experience: I ordered a Sicilian and regular pizza. I love deep dish Sicilian pizzas, and this one left me slightly disappointed. The taste was good, but the thickness was moderate, and the portion size was tiny for the price. I got a medium portion with meat lovers toppings. Each topping was 2.70 a piece and it ended up totaling to roughly 30-35 dollars for the Sicilian pizza.
This frustrates me slightly because I’ve had Sicilian meat lovers pizzas from other locations that were 2.5x the size and twice as thick for roughly 25-27 dollars, and the quality was slightly better even. So all things considered, I didn’t feel the price equated to the product.
The medium regular pizza was delicious, and my girlfriend enjoyed it. Both pizzas were fresh and the ingredients were quality; however, my girlfriend did note that the crust of her pizza just seemed like it was missing something.
Overall, we were satisfied with the quality of the food and service we received; however, the price to portion ratio was not reasonable.

A staple in Durham for a reason! Best Philly around, and of course good pizza! Had a nice kind of throwback vibe but interior is nothing super fancy so might not suit some, but I love it here!

We tried this place multiple times, but only have gotten the Philly sub from there. It’s pretty good along with the fries. I would recommend this place based on the food we ate.
