We came to have beers at De Garde Brewery in Tillamook and were happy to see a food truck right next door – you can see it in the photo taken from inside De Garde how close it is. The guy in De Garde said we could order food from the food truck and bring it inside and have with our beers! WIN WIN! We each got the double smash burger along with a pulled pork hatch chile sandwich… the pork/chile sandwich was so so good BUT I must admit their burgers are as good a burger as I have ever had anywhere. If you like to try different types of sandwiches they have lots of options and the pork hatch chile sandwich is an amazing choice. But if you are into burgers and want to have a burger perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients that melts in your mouth get the burger! Or get one of each like I did!

Thought we’d take a drive to try out the food carts in Garibaldi but only two of them were open. We went with this place instead of the Thai place although that also looked really good. We got the smashburger and the pulled pork melt. The smashburger was delicious definitely would come again for that. The melt was okay. I think the lemon or vinegar was a bit overpowering. There are several picnic tables, limited parking but you can park across the street where there is plenty of parking.

Country squire is my favorite place to eat in Tillamook, honestly maybe anywhere. I am addicted, we go at least once a week and I am obsessed! My boyfriend has celiac, and they are so kind and will make anything a gluten free option for him. I am loyal to the chicken melt, it’s an addiction at this point. Any time I have family or friends come to town I bring them here and they are in love. If you haven’t had the squire you are missing out.

Holy wow! We were just passing through Tillamook on our way home and needed a quick bite—what we got was one of the best meals of our entire trip. We tried a mix of sandwiches and bowls, and every bite was incredible. My chicken sandwich was next-level delicious. This place deserves all the hype. I only wish we’d had time to hang out and check out the taproom next door. We’re already dreaming up a future trip just to come back!

The garlic havarti burger is incredible. Wow! Every single ingredient on this burger was picked with care. It’s delicious. Highly recommend Country Squire Kitchen. We got there when there was a bit of a line, and it was well worth the wait.

Tried the smash burger and the chicken wrap with tater salad today, WOW, an absolute flavor bomb. The smash burger was perfectly seared, juicy, and stacked, crispy edges, melty cheese, and that fresh-off-the-grill taste. The chicken wrap surprised me in the best way, swarma’y’, bold Mediterranean/Middle Eastern vibes. Magical! The tater salad was creamy, but with a twist, black olives. Yum! Nice little small town gem.
