We stopped here initially for a coffee, but then decided to stay for lunch and was glad we did. The coffee was great as was the service from a fellow UK countryman.
I went for the prawn salad and it was the most prawn loaded salad Ive ever had. My wife had the chicken and mushroom pie with chips and this was great too.
The atmosphere varied throughout from being s bit bustling to chilled with some lovely locals. There’s plenty of seating inside and out.
Thoroughly recommended.

Ordered the kids spaghetti and the fish and chips. Spaghetti was okay, but the batter on the fish was disappointing. It was spongey. Chips were good. Salad had no dressing but you’re served individual packets of oil but no vinegar. Scones are microwaved right in the dining room. Service was pretty good.

This small restaurant/bar sits right on main street away from all the restaurant at the main square. Nice assortment of beers, ciders and cocktails. We ordered a homemade apple pie with warm vanilla cream custard. Absolutely delicious! Nice place to people watch or just station by for a bite to eat, ice cream or a small bite to eat.

I had a great experience at The Royal Calpe! The atmosphere was charming and cozy, and the coffee was absolutely delicious. What really stood out was the service – our waitress Veronica was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Ordered a cappuccino which came with whipped cream. Never had it like that before but will certainly be having it again. The kids had desserts and I had some apple pie. All very nice and the staff are attentive and friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location is fine, the food and service was below 0. Ordered 4 sandwiches, waited 30 min. and the sandwiches were the worst we ever had, dry salad, bread whitout any mayonnaise, sauce or seasoning, a complete joke for a sandwich.

Our tour guide recommended we go here after spending the day with him.
Sat out back in the beer gardens and had the most delicious turkey dinner in a baked yorkie.
The food was excellent and the service was good.
We enjoyed our late lunch here and would recommend to anyone in the area to stop in and give it a try!

It is pricey and they smoke outside which smells very bad and the waitress was very slow. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks. I would not recommend this place.
