Usually VERY good if you eat at the restaurant but it wasn’t the best when delivered. Fries were soggy, tenderloin and chicken strips weren’t crispy, inside of the mozzarella sticks were basically a brick of cheese. I live less than 10 minutes away (don’t have a car otherwise would’ve ate at the restaurant) so theres no reason the quality of my food should have been this bad, it’s like it was sitting out for 20 minutes before it even got delivered. If you want to enjoy how good this food can actually be, do not deliver.

Very nice to see someone have a Monte Cristo sandwich on their menu. It really is brunch in a sandwich and it’s pretty good here. The French toast part could be done a bit better as it was a little dry but not enough to ruin the whole meal. It’s very open in the place with nothing to break up seating areas which is kind of weird.

Halftime used to be a great place. The fried chicken was the best around. Our most recent visit was terrible. The 1/4 light fried chicken had almost no meat on it and was fried to oblivion. Told the waitress who informed the owner. They said there was nothing they would do. Didn’t even come out to the table. Have been going there for years but no more.

Got the sampler of fried stuff, I substituted extra cheese sticks for the fried cauliflower. Everything was really good, the onion rings were the best. And it was very affordable. Would recommend.

Just ordered the 1/4 light chicken the breast had little to no meat and was way over cooked. Won’t go there for a while if I ever go back.

The first time I order here was when my wife had just given birth to our daughter across the street at OSF. Rather than going to the typical fast food places I decided to given Halftime a try, and we both loved the food. Recovering mom loved the tasty fried chicken, burger and potato skins.
We now regularly bring the whole family here and enjoy the food. The ice cream is a real treat. It’s much better to come here to Halftime instead of going to a fast food place where the food costs the same but is no where near as good.
