Great prices and great food! This is a must if you’re in the mood for some amazing Mexican food. Tons of choices to choose from and drinks. Drive thru or dine in, it could use a bit of cleaning up inside but the food is what I stop in for.

Alonso’s is definitely the best place in Winslow, AZ, for Mexican food, hands down!!! The restaurant is located in a relatively large strip mall just off the I-40 on Park Dr. Be sure to bring a harty appetite because their portions are humongous. My personal favorite is the carne asada torta, but I must say that their burritos are epic as well. Enjoy and safe travels!!!

I had the Carne Assada Fries. The soggy fries spoiled the dish terribly, they looked like leftovers. That was not a cook that prepared this dish. Careful, the ceiling looks like it’s about to fall down. Building needs work, staff’s clothes need work, and the food needs a miracle. Sorry, I feel like I’ve been ripped off eating here.

Food way too greasy for me, half my plate was full of grease from taco’s. Beans were soupy like they were stretching out the supply. Rice was very good .

My husband and I were passing though Wislow. I’m mexican and eat at Mexico often, this food is not like mexican food. First at all, restroom was dirty, floor looked that it didn’t cleaned for days. I ordered carne asada tacos, with pico de gallo salsa and guacamole, salsa was only onions, and guacamole tasted bad, like it was rancid. That’s why I returned them, I ordered tacos dorados, they were good but with a lot of quesadilla cheese; in Mexico tacos dorados don’t have quesadilla cheese, they were like Taco Bell. My husband got chiles rellenos, he said it was the worst chiles rellenos he has even eaten. I really recommend them go to Mexico to learn how Mexican food is made.

I got the carne asada quesadilla and it was probably one of the best quesadillas I have had. The meat was so good and the tortilla was cooked perfectly. The customer service is also awesome. The lady at the cash register today was the sweetest and very personable. Will definitely be coming back when I am in the area!
