40 minutes to 1 hour wait time for a 25% full dining room. The gal at the register was fine, other than telling us we didn’t order pancakes when we confirmed it multiple times. The coffee wasn’t hot. We love Hy-vee, but management needs to get these girls some help!

This is compiled over time. Firstly, after you order, go to the deli and buy yourself something to snack on. It’s gonna be awhile before you get your food. Today was an hour and five minutes. Secondly, don’t complain when it does come out, as you’ll be told they know about the wait but weren’t allowed to tell you. Thirdly, heaven forbid you want hot food, as cold toast and tepid overcooked eggs are pretty common. So why do I keep coming back? Sometimes it’s only a half hour and there really aren’t many sit down breakfast choices.
