Twisters was started with the idea that customers wanted quality food at fast food prices with quick service in a pleasant environment. Founded in 1998, Twisters Burgers and Burritos has grown to 16 locations with 14 in Albuquerque, and 2 in the Denver, Colorado area.

Usually the breakfast burritos are great but today I ordered the ground beef. STAY AWAY!! I will never order it again. Food poisoning within two hours of eating and I never been so sick in my life. Stay sway!

Got home and bit into my burrito and the bacon is raw. I could tell our food was fresh which is great but the meat is raw. I like how the bacon is chopped and not full strips but now the raw meat is mixed into the whole burrito. Even though the food wasn’t cooked properly, the service was good.

I went the morning of black Friday and ordered 4 twisters style burritos when I got home I realized only 3 were twisters style and the 4th burrito was just smothered (missing fries) so I drive back and let them know what happened and I requested they remake the burrito and give me what I paid for. I also requested they refund me for that one burrito ( not my whole order just that one burrito). I figured that was fair since I didn’t get what I paid for the first time and had to go all the way back there to get it and I also mentioned I was going to miss having breakfast with the rest of my family due to the error and me have to waist time going back. They said they will remake my burrito but not give me a refund. Apparently the man expediting the orders over heard my conversation with the manager and very loudly and extremely rudly he yells to another employee “oh she wants to have her cake and eat it to hahaha” while I’m literally standing right there waiting for them to remake my burrito. I felt embarrassed and unappreciated as a customer at that moment, they didn’t care that I missed having breakfast with my family, and had to waist gas and time to drive back to have them fix there error and on top of that Im now gettinf insulted by an employee while I wait inside the restaurant and to top it off they didn’t even remake the burrito they just threw fries on top of that smothered burrito that was already in my possession for a little bit. By the time I get back home my family is done with breakfasts and I’m eating a soggy burrito smh. I have always had nothing but good things to say about this twisters and go pretty often but this one experience makes me want to never give thin my business again.

UNDER COOKED CHICKEN… Ordered out 2burritos w/doordash today, with excitement since I haven’t had Twisters in a while. Only to take a big bite of *undercooked pink chicken*. Opened up other burrito, finding the same issue. Beyond disappointed as this isn’t the 1st time it’s happened. It’s the main reason why I stopped coming as much, BUT this is the 1ST TIME I’m speaking on it. Sad to see this something common based on 4 shots out of the dark over the years. My last review of 4stars was 7yrs ago…

Very disappointed in this visit. I asked for a #8 with no potato inside and twister style with Xmas (curly fries on top covered with Chile and cheese). I waited 20 mins for just this and watched 6 cars order and get their food. The food was ok, bacon could of been cooked longer it was like rubber

This place is a must every time we visit the fam. The manager opened the door for us as we approached. His server was delightful, his cooks made our lunch perfectly and super quick as well. I had the carne adovada breakfast burrito smothered Xmas style. So. Stupid. Good. Thanks so much!
