The art on the wall was super cute. I love the home vibes the restaurant was giving and how easily accessible they made everything condiments, to go boxes, they even took apart and stacked cupholders.
Price: It’s giving airport food pricing if not just under it. One meal with an extra burger on the side ran us about $35
Food: The french fries were delicious! The burger I hear was pretty good too minus it could’ve been cooked a little longer. Both patties were reddish on the inside — so pro tip if you like your burgers, well done, let them know.
Service: Attentive. We weren’t ready to order yet when we first walked in and we were waiting for our parents to call us back with their orders — so we told the girl we needed a minute. When we were ready, I’m not sure where the girl went but the Chef saw us and got her to take our order immediately. It was nice that he noticed.
In addition, my favorite part has to be when the chef — after cooking and packaging our items, walked out from behind the counter/kitchen and handed us the bag directly. It was a nice personal touch that I super appreciated.
NTT [[Next Time Try]]: Ice cream or one of the floats for sure. My sweet tooth loves that they are so many options. I just didn’t realize when we were there until I looked to the left and saw the freezer and ice cream signs.
Thank me later 😉 Smile, eat, hydrate. Live honest and don’t settle. Hope to see you out there! xo
Loved the Mac & cheese bites! I enjoyed the Avocado bacon ranch burger – the Jalapeño sourdough bun is A MUST! (Even if you’re like me and spicy isn’t your thing – it’s so good!) I enjoyed the tater tots (super crunchy!), my husband found the fries to be average.
Overall, a really good burger and nostalgia-inducing spot. I love how they showcase/support so many local businesses on their tables and walls. A bit on the pricey side… but their food hit the spot. Parking onsite and minutes away from shops/bars in historic Montgomery.
