Can not say enough good things about the staff and food at this restaurant. They have a private area for larger parties, took a reservation for me 4 months ago, kept the reservation, served us with a smile and the food was excellent.
We celebrated my father in law’s 80th birthday there and they were so gracious and kind. They even provided plates and forks for the cake we brought in from outside.
The cake was supposed to be a taco (looks like the baker has not seen a taco before ) but it tasted good! Thanks again La Fuente for being a fountain of goodness!!

We just had the best Mexican food here We love Mexican food and this was by far the most delicious we can remember ever! Small establishment but top-notch food and service and a great atmosphere too. Our waiter was excellent and took time to explain the things on the menu and tell us about his favorite especially how good the homemade corn tortillas are.
Normally when I’ve tried homemade corn tortillas at Mexican restaurants I still don’t like them compared to flour tortillas, but at this restaurant they are outstanding and I would get them over flour ones every time!
Had the carnitas and it was so so good as we the meals my wife & daughter had and the queso was excellent too
Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

We ordered the 3 soft tacos, 3 crispy tacos, and nachos – all steak, to share as a family, for delivery. More than we needed for the 3 of us!
Steak has great flavor and is delicious! Hubby and I both voted that the crispy tacos were best! Nachos would be better fresh, as they were quite soggy- but still flavorful. If ordering from home, skip the lettuce!
I personally prefer mexi style tacos with traditional onions and cilantro. Will be trying those next time, as we will be returning! Hopefully in house next time!

I recently visited Taqueria La Fuente in Tigard and was thoroughly impressed — this spot is a standout for authentic Mexican cuisine. From the moment I arrived, I appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The chips and salsa arrived quickly and set the tone for a great meal. Their ingredients clearly shine: the handmade corn tortillas have real texture and flavor, which speaks to the restaurant’s commitment to quality.
The menu offers a wide range of options that go beyond basic Tex-Mex — I especially loved the rich mole and the depth of flavor in the entrees, which reflect the restaurant’s roots in Michoacán. The portions were generous, making it a great value, and I felt the service was genuinely attentive without being overwhelming. Parking was easy and convenient, which is always a bonus.
In all, Taqueria La Fuente is an excellent choice whether you’re out for a casual dinner or a family meal. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning to try more of their menu. If you’re in the Tigard/Portland area and craving solid Mexican food with real flavor, this place should be on your list.

This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is SO delicious and the staff are so nice! This is our family’s go-to dinner spot for birthday celebrations, big news celebrations, and just because we’re hungry. They never disappoint!

Greeted at the door and shown to a table right away. The server was there within seconds of that. Margaritas, of course. Street tacos, carne asada, quesadilla with pork. The food was very good, prob sized are just right. The salsas offered were VERY flavorful and my partner likes the heat and they brought it. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other Mexican food establishments. Will definitely go again

It’s amazing that this place isn’t packed every day with patrons. Very small restaurant and unassuming décor in your typical hole in the wall place. The food, however, was fantastic. We ordered the steak burrito and the chicken taco salad. Yes, a boring meal selection, but the flavor was out of this world! The waitress we had was unfriendly, as if she didn’t like serving a couple of gringos! But she did her job as required so I still gave a 30% tip, though mainly because the food was delicious. The one star removal was due to her attitude. But us gringos will be back!

Came here based on reviews. It wasnt a bad experience, nice staff and very prompt. But our food was a letdown – atleast what I thought it would be based on reviews.
We got torta de cabeza which tasted more like shredded beef.
Salsa wasnt that great. Chips slightly stale.
I got the chile colorado burrito which had a pretty good sauce.

Nice small spot with good Mexican food. Place us clean and service is great. The wait was normal for our dishes. I feel like the flavors weren’t as complex and could be deeper. Overall nice place with decent prices

We have visited this establishment several times and have always had a great experience. Tonight was no different. We had Antonio as our waiter for the second time in a row. He made excellent recommendations for food and drink. Very welcoming and prompt. We enjoyed the authentic music and decor as well. Home made tortillas and margaritas made with real lime juice added to our enjoyment.
