Food is incredible!!!! Ordered the shrimp and grits and had the pleasure of sampling some dish containing broccoli, chicken, & cornbread. This is definitely food for the soul! Music played in the background cultivating a nice relaxing environment for you to enjoy your food. 10/10 recommend!!!

What a Beautiful experience! I don’t just mean the food was exceptional, it was! On the road really missing my wife, I stumbled across this gem. Not only did they have the audacity to serve me some of the best food I have ever had period( being well traveled and ranked in Google’s top 2% of reviewers worldwide), but they made me feel seen, they made me feel heard, they made me feel like family, and for a moment I missed my girl a little less. Kudos to Ivory and Angel for making the world a better place all the while making stomachs smile. This is as mom and pop as you can get. And to the three young gentleman to my left with manners and deep respect. Don’t change, our world needs more young men like you.

If your looking for damn good food homemade from the ❤️. This is the place for you to enjoy cooking that explodes your taste buds. We are in town from Dallas for The Weekend concert and found them online. The owners were the nicest people you can meet. When you see them literally cooking your order in a cast iron skillet…damn..we will be back.

OMG…this is by far the best seafood around! I was on a business trip with a co-worker from DFW. I always want to get seafood while I am near the coast so I searched “seafood near me” and opted for this place. We pulled up the location and almost left because it’s in a gas station.. I decided to give it a shot and HOLY CRAP!! I haven’t had seafood that good in a long time. Fresh ingredients and the Husband and wife team are the sweetest people ever. Definitely a diamond in the ruff dining destination. You get so much food for your money and so much seafood! Im tired of paying high prices and getting very little seafood in what I ordered. This place will be a gold mine destination someday in a beautiful building.. but I almost don’t want them to move out of the gas station, I believe it adds character and affordable consumption.

Food was good and cooked fresh. I needed a little bit more salt on mine but overall it was flavorful with a kick. The young lady in the front had a great personality and lots of energy, she is great and welcoming. Kudos to her. The location is in a gas station on the corner of Almeda and Southmore. I got the hot topic with blackened fish and shrimp. Check them out of you can.

Got there about 45 mins. before opening at 12pm. First to order and it took over an hour to get fish and fries. Was one of my favorite spots, not anymore, people coming in and out ordering food sitting, eating and leaving and I am still with no food, was told 4 times they were just waiting on the fries. Was also told I would get a free gumbo for waiting so long and I didn’t get it. They did say that fried food takes longer, but a hour is way too long to wait on fried food. Spent over $100 on food and the service was trash. I will not be back there again. I wanted to dine-in but after a 2 hour wait, I was ready to leave and never return. Good Food bad service. I didn’t want to leave this negative review but after I got home I tried calling them and never got an answer, phone just rings.

I’ll tell you this is a jem of a place, was walking by and it caught my attention, went in to ask for a menu to go. Got offered a taste of their overload gumbo and I was hooked. came out of the spot with a baked potato overload. delicious is an understatement, I can’t wait to go back and taste the rest of their menu. amazing find!!!!!
