Not sure when they got a new manager or if they were in a bad mood. We have been ordering pizza from the Maywood location for the past few years and it’s always been a generous order. We always call a day ahead and they are able to accommodate for delivery at 11 am. It’s legit a 12 min drive. This time I tried calling to place another order and they let us know that they don’t deliver to us. The lady on the phone was super nice and tried her best to double check with manager multiple times and the manager kept saying no. Honestly whoever is managing this place is going to run it to the ground.

Updated review. Order a pick up pizza and they had an issue with their system so I had to wait 15 minutes. They hooked me up with wings and an iced tea. The wings amazing and now they created a new customer just for the beggars wings!!!! Great customer service and delicious food.

I can’t rate their whole pizzas because I haven’t had one yet, HOWEVER, the two times I stopped in and grabbed a slice or 2 to go, they were some of the best individual slices of pizza I’ve had in my life. The pepperoni was good but the sausage and cheese slice (on two separate visits) was Amazing. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

I ordered food from the restaurant in Maywood this evening. After waiting for the delivery for some time, I called the restaurant. They told me the driver knocked on my door and the manager was very rude and brushed me off the phone. I called back , told him there is a doorbell outside and he did not ring it I paid for a delivery. I called back to the restaurant and the manager would not admit anything was wrong on the drivers behalf. All he done was hurried me off the phone and hung up again I will never spend my money there again. He acted like I done something wrong and it was my fault. He had no excuse. The porch was well lit and the doorbell was visible. SMDH

As usual Beggars Pizza is awesome. However when I asked the girl for some flatware, thr girl actually pulled some out from underneath the counter, wiped it off with the towel, slid it in a bag and gave it to me like it was unused!!! Didn’t want to even take it,

I placed an order for delivery. 1 small pizza. Estimated delivery 1:39pm. I had to call to see if the delivery was on its way as it was a tad bit late. However, the pizza arrived quite burnt. I called the store was placed on hold and never to be answered. Usually the food is good… but this time it left quite slighted.

Picked up a pizza from here for dinner and it was delicious, they always cook their pizzas to absolute perfection! Golden cheese and their sauce is good too!!! We even got some cheese fries with extra cheese and it was excellent! Absolutely highly recommend this establishment if you’re looking for bomb pizza !!

Their line is we “lay it on thick”. That’s not what I’ve found on my spinach and tomato pizzas – see attached pics. The crust isn’t cooked through even though I had the 5 minutes added. I’ve tried them several times hoping for a change but I’ve realized it’s not worth the cost with delivery fee and tip.

Pizza by the slice. Cheese, sausage, pepperoni, and stuffed. I enjoy the sausage slice. Always hot and fresh. Better than most places where you can buy a slice. Service is quick.
