I was looking forward to trying this place out for a while. We were with a group of 7 people and finally had the chance to go. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience.
The food was average. My burger was dry and my wife’s Ceasar Salad has no life to it or flavor. The appetizers were good enough, but overall underwhelming. This also applied to the desserts. My friends enjoyed some of their dishes and others not so much.
The ambiance was cool. However, the place was tight in terms of seating. We had asked if we could combine the table next to us to give us some extra breathing room. Apparently, this was not possible because they were completely booked. We were told this by the manager Cat, whose tone was pretty aggressive and definitely not pleasant. In the end, that table we asked for remained vacant the entire night.
The only bright spot was our server Brooklyn. She was tremendously helpful, attentive, personable and professional. She helped make the experience better.
Overall, I would not return. There are better places to try out.

Excellent staff and very personable. The bartender Rosa was knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with.
Very pretty place with an upscale vibe yet accessible to everyone. You’ll feel comfortable blue or white collar.
The food…in a word- EXCELLENT.
For an app we had the Yellow Fin Tuna Tar Tar. Very, very good quality tuna which was the clincher for me to order the Pastrami Rubbed Tuna for dinner.
That was excellent as well. Great whipped potatoes with scallions underneath.
The side of spinach with leeks was very good as well.
The wife ordered the Fried Pork Chop and it was communicated when ordering that there is a wait time as they prepare it. (approx. 1/2 hour turned out)
She was getting a little “antsy” waiting but suffice to say when it arrived it was so good that she said she’d wait 3 HOURS for it.
Yes, it was that outstanding. And my wife is in the business and normally doesn’t give out compliments that generous…
Our bartender told us it’s a very popular dish there and always consistent.

Had dinner there last night with two friends. The food was fastastic. I had the “pastrami tuna.” It was about the best tuna dish I have had anywhere. Our server was terrific too, My friends also raved about their selections as well. We had good conversations with friedly fellow dinners too. We will definitely return to thus restaurant. I recommend it highly.

Amazing place went down on January 15th we coworkers and the Happy Hour was fantastic. The drink specials were so good. The bartender was so sweet. We met Sam the owner real gentleman. Nice to speak. Can’t wait to go back. Must check this place out!!!

I found this special place after going to see a very special performance of “The Nutcracker”at the nearby Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. This is a place that is making its bones— opened just eight months ago in a spot that, as I have been told, once housed a dive bar. This is fine Italian food— and I should know, my grandmother owned an Italian restaurant. I am a light eater, and so I got the Clams Oreganata— which were cooked perfectly. More than that, and this is the essential thing, they were fresh from the ocean. It is very clear that the owner has chosen everything and everyone very carefully. I do not know when I have felt more welcomed. Which is the main point of going out to dinner. It is so much more complex than the quality of the food, which, here, is wonderful. So come, come and get a drink from Richard, behind the bar, who bears a striking resemblance to the director Ron Howard. And dig into some authentic Italian cuisine. I wish that I lived closer…It is that good.

I can confidently say this is the best new spot in Long Island! Every dish we tried was seriously delicious with perfect execution. We ordered the crudités, PEI mussels, beet salad, pan-seared salmon, 16 oz ribeye and onion rings, and every bite was beyond amazing. My friends and I have been wanting to try the food here for weeks. The food definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the Brick Chicken which was absolutely amazing. My friends ordered the tuna steak and the chicken sandwich, which of course I also had to taste and were delicious. The Apps, sides and drinks all equally amazing. Atmosphere was great, and so was the service. The only issue we ran into was with the nasty attitude from the manager Tatiana. She belittles the staff in front of customers, it was definitely not appropriate, especially in front of others. If not for this I would have given 5 stars.
