Used to visit them at their original location in Hackettstown until they closed due to rent increase. Heard about the new location and yeah found him. Got myself a favorite pizza spot again.
Had a fresh pie made. Great crust thin, like a cross between NY style and cracker wafer thin, no flop, airy firm. The sauce is just as it was, not as acidic like others in the area which is what we like. Quality cheese.
Price is better than others in the Hackettstown, Washington area too.
Our old go-to is back closer again!

I give Roman Pizza four stars, not for the pizza, but for the welcoming service and how I was greeted when I visited this location for the first time. The location has a sitting area with several tables and has an array of items on their menu at Avery reasonable cost. The daily special is two slices and a can of coke for $5.99! The pizza slice had a good dough and made thin and crispy which are its highlight. There is plenty of cheese, however the slice did not have much flavor. It was lacking a bit of salt and spices such as oregano. Overall Roman Pizza is a good pizza location to visit when in the area that offers good food at a very reasonable price.

Went there during opening week. The food was fantastic! Had the stuffed pie, chicken ceasar salad, chicken parm sub and garlic knots. Every single thing was fantastic! Will absolutely return without any hesitation! Definitely give them a try.. You won’t be disappointed! Update. Have been there dozens of times since original post… Everytime outstanding…

Ordered well done pizza but it was not even fully cooked. Asked to put it back to oven for 5 more minutes but guy (who answers the phone) was so rude and started yelling. He was saying he’s been making pizza for 38 yrs so he knows what to do instead of just making customers happy. If you go don’t ask anything extra I am telling you staff is very RUDE there and if you ask they will yell you.

I have never been to Roman’s Pizza in person, and I have not tried any food dishes, other than a chicken cutlet Parmesan sub/hero ONCE! So, don’t have MUCH to go by. The sub was OK, but the chicken was not a whole piece of chicken. Maybe it was pounded down too many times to make it tender. As far as the pizza goes. In my opinion, it was pretty good, but I am a NYC person and of course in my eyes, there is no better place for that. But, I must say their cheese calzone was absolutely superb! I did order the pizza and definitely the calzone like 4 times now. That is a must try! I wish I can elaborate more on the dinners or specialties, but maybe next time! BUT DEFINITELY TRY THEIR CALZONE! That was really excellent, so I’m saying it again! Either way, I would definitely rate them a 4 and a half out of 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great staff and drivers too. TODAY, *** UPDATE ~~~ Thursday, Feb, 20, 25 I have to say the food I ordered WAS SUPERB!!!

I ordered pick up for the first time and will definitely be a repeat customer. I ordered a sausage pie and a spaghetti and meatball for my toddler who doesn’t eat pizza. My toddler can be very particular about his dinner but he devoured his meatballs. Their marinara is perfect and the pizza was great!

Flavorless pizza under cooked even though I asked it to be well done. Asked for extra pepperoni on it I got exactly 12 pepperoni’s on r entire pie but was still charged for extra. I would without question rather heat up ELLIOS frozen pizzas then eat here. Wife got a cheese steak and yet again not disappointed in how bad it was. If I could give it negative stars I would have. Couldn’t give me a free pie id turn it down respectfully.

They have some crazy lunch specials, everything is $5.99 . A huge selection of very affordable lunches. You would think for that price you wouldn’t get quality. But the tuna sandwich that I had was actually very good. If you’re in town and you need a quick bite they literally had me out the door within 3 minutes for $5.99!! And not no skimpy portion a full sandwich
