The best and healthiest meal we had in all of Rome! Despite Rome being an endless sea of fresh pizza and pasta, our family wasn’t “wowed” by almost any classic local restaurants on our 12 day trip. To our surprise, the best food we had in Rome… was Indian! We were exhausted by the frustrating lack of vegetables and underwhelming flavors of the dishes we’d been having on our trip, until we came here! We tried several dishes and each was better than the last. Items we ordered were Chicken Tika Masala, Butter Shrimp, Mixed Veggie Curry, Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Plain Naan, Veggie Rice, and for dessert, Saffron Kheer, Banana Lassi, and Papaya Lassi. All were incredible, the favorites were the Tika Masala, and the Butter Chicken.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Akbar is very funny and kind! We really enjoyed our time here and may even be back again tomorrow night!

Be sure to stop in for the delicious food and wonderful service!

Food was amazing. We recommendations were amazing food it put a smile on her face people here were super nice. SERVICE was great if you’re ever in Rome and you love Indian food you have to try this place. It’s in a small street in front of a pizza place yes.

Welcoming staff, but disappointing food.
The service was friendly, but the food really missed the mark. The lemonade had around a dozen seeds and the sugar wasn’t mixed properly—it all sat at the bottom. The chicken curry was overly salty, though the naan and roti were good. I would not recommend ordering any of the biryanis here; it was easily the worst dish we tried.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rome

If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Rome, I highly recommend stopping by this delightful restaurant that truly stands out! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance enveloped me in a cozy and welcoming vibe that instantly melted away the fatigue from my day’s explorations.

The highlight of my visit was without a doubt the outstanding service. server, who was working outdoors, radiated warmth and friendliness, making every moment feel special. It’s amazing how much a smile and attentive service can enhance a dining experience. This individual went above and beyond, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we felt right at home.

Now, let’s talk about the food—it was fantastic! After a tiring day of sightseeing, discovering such delicious options was just what I needed. Each dish was a celebration of local flavors, beautifully presented, and satisfying to the last bite.

In conclusion, while ambiance is important, it’s the quality of service that truly brings a dining experience to life. This restaurant nails it on all fronts—great atmosphere, delicious food, and the incredible service from a friendly staff. If you’re in the heart of Rome, don’t miss this spot!

Everything from their service to the food was incredible! It was a nice switch from pasta and pizza from us, and we definitely recommend coming here. The food was the perfect amount, they had Kingfisher beer and just the best Indian food we’ve had in awhile! Most likely will go back before leaving back to America soon!

Good restaurant with plenty of dishes from curry, grilled tandoori, masala, to various rice and bread. Including chicken, fish, and lamb. Friendly sraff and nice service. Cooking and meats especially chicken needs to be better quality. unfortunately some dishes like curry and bread size are too small. Also, there is a strange fee of 2€ for each person for sitting outside. Another point to add that it’s Halal restaurant with little prayer room, but how is it Halal and full of Buddha and others statues and pictures.

Good Indian food in Rome. Almost all of local pizza and pasta lack the flavors and spice. Make a visit here if you want to eat Indian food. We had visited several restuarants on our trip and found this one to be amongst the best.

Food we had: roti, kadai panner, dal makhni and kashmiri pulav
