Ristorante Molise has been one of my favorite Italian restaurant in Massachusetts for decades! I first fell in love with them years ago when the sisters had their Wakefield location, and I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why—they make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door.

Yesterday I had their Arancini ball, and it was absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside, rich and comforting on the inside. Honestly, I love everything I’ve ever had here. The food is always prepared with care, and the warm hospitality makes the entire experience feel like home.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit I was enjoying myself so much that I forgot to take a photo until the plate was empty… but to me, that’s the best sign of a meal well-loved.

If you want authentic Italian cuisine paired with the kind of service that makes you feel like part of the family, Ristorante Molise is the place. A true gem that just keeps getting better with time

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Molise! The staff is so friendly, and the food is incredible. My husband had the Pollo Molise and I got the Pollo Parmigiana. The portions are very generous. If you still have room for dessert, the bread pudding is to die for

Fantastic Italian restaurant!
I’m not sure if this is a family-owned Italian restaurant but it’s the same nice lady every time we go there. Greeting you and seating your.
The service is friendly and they seem to know everyone that comes through the door. The food is fantastic and there’s something for almost everyone.
My only complaint would be that the dining room gets very noisy and it’s hard to talk, but what do you expect when you’re an Italian restaurant and everyone is having a great time.

The food is absolutely fantastic! I was in town for business and went there my first night… had to go back again the following night. Staff are amazing and very warm atmosphere. Crazy if you don’t check these guys out! Michelle the bartender is amazing and makes the best Old Fashion I’ve ever had!

Ristorante Molise deserves every bit of 5 stars! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of perfect. The service is outstanding—professional, attentive, and they have a way of keeping the flow of food just right without ever making you feel rushed. The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our night feel extra special, which truly set the tone for the evening.

The dining room itself is elegant and welcoming, with an open layout that makes the space feel lively and inviting. Because it’s all open, it can get a little loud at times and make conversation harder to hear, but when we went toward the end of the night the atmosphere was quieter and even more enjoyable.

The meal started with their bread—perfectly crunchy on the outside yet soft and fluffy inside, the kind you can’t stop eating. The Calamari Fritti was hands down the best I’ve ever had: tender, melt-in-your-mouth, never rubbery, with a sauce that balanced savory richness and just the right amount of kick. Despite being fried, it felt light and satisfying, the ideal appetizer.

For my entrée, I had the Ravioli di Aragosta, and I honestly can’t praise it enough. The ravioli were generously sized and stuffed with flavorful lobster chunks—both inside and piled on top. Each bite was rich, savory, and carried that perfect seafood finish that lingered beautifully. Absolutely phenomenal.

Drinks are another highlight—the bartender pours them strong and tasty, just the way I like them. And to top it all off, the desserts were gorgeous and paired perfectly with an espresso. I loved the thoughtful touch of including a rock candy stick, letting you stir in sweetness to taste or just enjoy as a little snack.

All in all, Ristorante Molise checks every box: incredible food, warm hospitality, and those little details that make an evening memorable. I can’t wait to come back!

Dine at Molise for the first time last night. Husband and I ordered drinks , appetizers and entrees. Service was great. The food was very tasty and we were impressed with the size of the entrees. We both took half of it home. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. And we already can’t wait to go back. We were greeted warmly by a woman who I believe may be one of the owners. Our server was excellent and all our dishes were delicious. We got the stuffed mushroom appetizer which was a special for the evening. We each had salad. I had the pollo vodka. If you like spicy dishes this had the perfect amount of heat from spicy cherry peppers and my husband had the fettuccine con fungi. The homemade fettuccine was so good! The portions are extremely generous. We took more than half our meals home. I told my husband that a lot of restaurants claim to “treat you like family”, however, this is the first and only time where I actually felt that to be true. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We’ve enjoyed Ristorante Molise in the past, but this visit was a major disappointment.
Our server Mellissa was unwelcoming and had a negative attitude the entire time. She acted irritated whenever we asked for anything and mixed up multiple orders at the table.

We also mentioned a nut and seed allergy ahead of time, but the salad still arrived with tomatoes and cucumbers — not ideal when you’re trying to dine safely.

The Pollo Molise was watery and lacked flavor, and the Veal Eggplant Parm had barely any veal. Just a really underwhelming experience overall. We won’t be coming back for a while.

Awesome dining experience at Ristorante Molise. The service, food, ambiance, and authentic “Italian” vibe make this a go to place.
Fast forward to April 2023
Celebrated our 37th Wedding Anniversary here.
Not surprisingly, our server was super friendly and attentive, food was delicious, fresh, and hot! Great romantic dinner.

Eating inside the restaurant helps make up for me being 0% italian. They greet you like family and you’ll feel the warmth.

Most of the meals we have ordered have been good. We have been upcharged by a lot (doubled the price of an entree) for substitutions like shrimp instead of sausage even when there is a shrimp dish with a similar price to my original order.
