I just had to tell you about this absolutely fantastic spot I recently discovered – it’s called Oviedo Park Pub, and honestly, it’s quickly become one of my new favorite hangouts.
The whole vibe there is just incredible. It’s super cozy and welcoming, the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and completely at home, almost like you’re just kicking back with your favorite people. There’s a wonderful, friendly buzz that makes you feel like part of the gang from the moment you walk in.
And let’s talk about the drinks! The folks behind the bar are seriously talented. They’ve got an amazing crew of mixologists crafting some truly delicious concoctions. If you happen to stop by, you absolutely *must* say hello to James – tell him Lucy sent you! He’s an absolute Guru with cocktails, hands down the best in the business.
Beyond the great drinks, there’s always something cool happening – good tunes, a lively atmosphere, and it’s an absolutely prime spot if you want to catch your favorite sports team on the big screen. The energy during games is awesome! Plus, the staff are genuinely wonderful; they really make you feel taken care of.
Oh, and here’s a super clever touch: even though they don’t have their own kitchen, you can totally order food from a bunch of fantastic restaurants just a few steps away and bring it right in. Talk about convenience!

Great bar! Especially with so many options within a 20-30 minutes drive, I really enjoy coming here because of the amazing service I receive from incredible people like Frank. He’s recommended so many different cocktails that I wouldn’t usually order. I appreciate that.

My local bar is so amazing! They never fail to make sure me and my group are well taken care of! The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and fun! Special shout out to James for always making my experience here amazing! James has been here from the very beginning and I’m always greeted with a smile. He’s so friendly and is always making me laugh! James and his staff are truly what make this bar great. So happy our town finally has a great local spot to drink.

Ok seriously, this place is an Oviedo gem! A friendly bar where you can hang out with other locals and make friends with absolute strangers over drinks and food (preferably Buttercrust Pizza!). The vibe is chill and just what you need after a long day/or week of work. Go hang out with friends, family or a special someone over great cocktails crafted by literally the BEST bartenders around! They know their stuff and like a great hair stylist, they’ll engage in conversation and possibly become your new bf . They’re just that awesome! The atmosphere is engaging, yet relaxing. A perfect place to hang for the games as they have multiple big screens. The outside patio is an added bonus especially if you enjoy sitting outdoors and want to bring your kids, while you enjoy a few drinks. They do offer heat lamps for the cooler nights which is another plus. Besides the perfect drinks, laid-back environment and delicious food options, you can’t beat the reasonable prices and central location of being within the Oviedo Park. My honest opinion, you won’t regret it. You’ll enjoy it.

We had such a great experience at Park Pub. James and Britney took amazing care of us and truly went above and beyond. Even though they don’t officially open until 4, they kindly accommodated us earlier because we had family visiting from out of town. The service was outstanding, and we felt so welcomed. I came with a group of people on a Wednesday night. We were actually hosting a Meetup here. Our First one, but we didn’t realize it fell on the same night as Bingo Night
We had a big group of over 15 people and could not get any table service or checked on at all. I basically felt invisible to the Bartenders who never really went out of their way to Welcome us or ask if we need any drinks.
They may have been short staffed that night. The only time they came by our table was once towards the end of the night when they asked to clear the empty drinks of the Tables.
We were a group of 15+ adults aged 25-65 but could not get any Attention directed our way. The head organizer even told me that nobody had come to our tables since it started at 7:30 pm.
I think that is really sad for a bar to be so unfriendly like that. We will not be returning to this bar for our next Meetup with their poor bar service or customer service.

⭐️ 1 Star – Extremely Rude Manager, Unacceptable Behavior!
We had a very disappointing experience here.
When placing our order, the waitress asked for ID. One person in our group is visiting the U.S. and provided a foreign passport, which is a valid government-issued ID. The waitress politely said this was new to her and went to check with the manager.
The manager came over and immediately stated that they “don’t accept any ID that is not a U.S. ID,” which is incorrect. We calmly and respectfully explained that a passport is a valid form of government ID. Instead of listening or even checking the actual law, the manager became hostile, extremely rude, and walked away.
There was no attempt at a professional conversation, no willingness to verify the policy, and absolutely no respect shown to customers. His attitude was aggressive and completely uncalled for.
To her credit, the waitress was clearly shocked by his behavior and apologized to us as we were leaving, even apologizing on behalf of the manager. She handled the situation professionally, unlike him.
We understand businesses have the right to refuse service, but verbal abuse and disrespect are never acceptable. This manager’s behavior alone is enough to ensure we will never return, and I strongly advise others to reconsider supporting a place that allows this kind of conduct.
Florida Statute Chapter 562 Section 11 does mention Foreign passports as a valid for of ID for Tabaco and alcohol. Let’s have the manager a bit more educated.

What you are saying is that Florida is not serving alcohol to tourists.
The law says: “foreign passport is listed as an acceptable form of identification under this statute for the purpose of legally verifying age to sell, serve, or give alcohol in Florida—because the statute literally uses the word “passport” with no nationality limitation. “
NEVERTHELESS IT DOESN’T JUSTIFY SUCH A RUDE ATTITUDE. And you as the owner know better than anyone else that attitude is what makes a small business successful (or not).
Visit date: Sunday December 28th in the evening.

Not a place like it around Oviedo. Set in a “U” the pub specializes in drinks and atmosphere while it surrounded by plenty of food options. The beer prices are lower than average and whiskey prices don’t gouge….too much. Can get a great Old Fashion for $14-$15. I love the seating and it’s my staple for Sunday NFL!
