We haven’t been to LJS in a year or two but stopped by the drive thru today. Just wanted to compliment the young lady working there. Her name was Angel and she was very efficient, but more importantly, very patient and kind. LJS here in Mount Sterling would be wise to hang onto her as an employee.

The food wasn’t good it’s like they have changed and it took forever to get it and something is always missing, the service was nice to me but I did see the service be rude to a older couple. It’s way to high for the quality of food that it is now. I might just get hush puppies next time if I do go back.

I grew up in Lexington Ky where the First Long Johns Silvers was started in the early 70s. The fish pieces have gotten a little smaller and smaller. If only LJS could serve a decent order of French fries before the over priced ( very expensive) waffle fries it wax potato sticks. The bigger the size of the French fries the more favor and weight. The waffle fries are a complete rip-off. I bought Two orders of waffle fries only it was so expensive and just nothing there. You can order a Two piece meal only with Two sides and have to pay for extra piece of fish. Two meals with the charge for the extra ( 2 piece of fish) is almost 30 dollars. I love Long Johns Silvers but until they have 3 piece meal available I can’t go there. They used have a 10 piece fish only for a decent price. I can pay 30 dollars for lunch. Have a nice day

Traveling from Kentucky to Virginia and haven’t had LJS’s in forever. So glad I went through the drive thru and got some lunch. Chicken and fish combo with hush puppies and slaw. Wow, it did not disappoint. Service was great, and food was piping hot and fresh. Thanks!

We waited in the drive-through for 35 minutes for one meal, when the young lady finally brought the food it was completely incorrect, I immediately went in the store and asked for a refund, the manager came out and said she would give me the refund, three days later after the charges were pending it looks like all she did was charge me another $13 again for the exact meal that I did not even get

Went there & ordered to go. Several people came in after me. They were all served before me. I had waited over 20 minutes to get my food. When I asked about it, they just said they go by ticket #. I’d like to get the owners name to tell them everything. They even had an employee come in while I was waiting, who went to work wearing sandals. I thought at first she was going to the back to change shoes, but i was wrong. That’s a safety hazard. The food wasn’t great. I barely ate any of it.

The shift manager, Alexus, wanted to argue over whether a coupon was valid, a coupon from Keeneland for Keenland staff. The coupon was a digital coupon and had this store address on the coupon in Mount Sterling, Ky. Didn’t get to use the coupon, but we ate there anyway. We really like Long Johns and have for years, they are just not local to us anymore, so we have to travel to find a Long Johns. But to top it off while eating the luke warm food, a roach ran across the booth we were sitting in. It was absolutely disgusting, and I lost my appetite.
