We traveled from a neighboring city just to try this place out. We were looking for a good Nigerian spot and stumbled upon this place. And this place did not disappoint! We ordered the efforiro and the egusi and my goodness it was on point! The food was authentic, bold, flavorful and rich. We will no doubt drive back to this place in the near future to eat here again. This is a family owned restaurant, and we must support authentic ethnic places like Esans to stay open!

My daughter and I wanted to try the egusi, sadly they were out but we did get the beef stew and rice, jollof rice with chicken and banga soup with goat meat. It was all very very good. Insanely delicious. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Hopefully we’ll be able to snag some the of egusi next time!

Amazing as always! Besides their efforiro and banga soup, their whole grilled(or fried) fish is a must! The seasoning and garnish on top of the fish is savory and spicy. A perfect balance that just makes your mouth water every time. Will come back soon!

Very good food, service was great and people were very polite and friendly. I had eforiro and pounded yam, it was a lot of food and I ate every bit of it. I would have liked my pounded yam a little bit harder but that’s just me. I also tasted the jollof rice and it was so tasty, it had this amazing smoky taste that reminded me of home. Definitely going back there with my friends.
