I’m here now and I had to get on here and leave this review because my family spent 50$ to come here because I loved this place when I was a kid. However this is the worst meal I have ever had in my life.. we didn’t even get to eat.. I have plenty of pictures to show the food was old and the rolls were raw dough, fries sat all day, Mac and cheese was just plain noodles in cheese water (also old) chicken looked a week old and was hard, very hard and honestly I could go on and on.. I’m just really upset that we just handed them $50 for three ppl with no meal, service, anything in return.. I honestly cannot believe how bad this place is.. October 2nd 2025 all I was able to eat was the ice cream they had pre packaged, same with my daughter and husband..

We haven’t been to the Lucky Star Buffet in a bit and we were in the area and decided to stop it…..after paying 28.00 for the 2 of us and we are retired. The food just wasn’t what it use to be. Cold and some was not appealing to eat…I watched a guy come and put water from the fountain machine into some of the food trays….yeah food was drying out and very small portions for paying customers to dish out….who knows how long its been sitting. The food selection was also very lean….The topper of all of this is in the bathroom….sign on the wall that says no paper in toilet ….so there is a trash can with gross paper in it….guess thats a good way of catching something…..they Have a blow dryer….so its not referring to any paper towels!!
Unfortunately after this visit….we will not be returning

I was here on a whim, looking for somewhere to get a meal. What I found was not the best and left a lot to be desired. Hawaiian Meatballs were undesirable, Coconut Chicken tasted like sand, Bourbon Chicken was oddly wet. Chicken Stick (without the stick) was the usual fare, Crab Rangoons were crispy, and the Garlic Bread wasn’t as crunchy but I am fine with that.

I barely ate my first plate. The second was Dumplings and Roasted Potatoes. Dumplings were practically pre-sauced, which I did not appreciate. So I had one more hope, one last hope.

Roasted Potatoes, delicate, fluffy, bite right through no hassle. I took a bite.

Tough. Chewy, almost. Starchier than normal. Horrendous potatoes. From there I grabbed a cup of Chocolate Ice Cream and a Fortune Cookie, ate the Ice Cream, and dipped.

My fortune was “everything will now go your way”, and frankly, after that meal? Kind of hard to go any worse.

I leave this review as a caution to the diner. Do not come to this buffet seeking something comparable to any other Chinese Buffet. You will be left sorely disappointed and still hungry.

We are eating here now and I am so disappointed that I needed to leave a review before we left. The food has clearly sat for longer than it should. The fried food is chewy. The crab rangoons are so old they don’t crunch. The soy sauce must be low quality because it barely resembles the flavor. The noodles are no flavor. Their selection is not worth the $15 per person. Seriously disappointed. Will never come back.

Dirty place and m9sr disgusting food i ever eaten. Everything was hard like it was sitting under heating lamp all day. All the workers were sitting around. Will never go back and do not recommend it. Spend $50 for 3 ppl. and hope to be lucky not to have food poisoning.

If you’re looking for a good chinese buffet then travel a little further down the road bc this one ain’t it! Poor selection of food and poor quality food. The absolute worst buffet I’ve ever had and I’ve had alot of them all over these United States…..think I’ll go puke now They didn’t even have sweet tea,what chinese buffet doesn’t have sweet tea??

They don’t provide clean cutlery or plates. I repeatedly asked for disposable options, but they refused. All the plates, glasses, and cutlery were visibly dirty. This reflects extremely poor service and unacceptable hygiene standards.

It was a clean environment but the eggs and the crab were not cooked right, tasted old and awful. I actually had to leave early from getting sick from it. For $30 I expected better quality food than that of which would make my wife and I sick. I would not advise going here. (At least until I can get a formal apology). This is ridiculous on my way home to continue puking this food out.

Most of the food was not cooked right. My wife had crab, chicken and all the meats were nearly raw or way overcooked and old.
