We came on a Saturday for lunch. Lots of free parking spots and restaurant was easy to find. The menu was extensive, with tons of dishes to choose from. It was also very vegetarian friendly!!

Ordered the chicken 65 for appetizers and it was super flavorful, crispy, and a great kick.

Then ordered 2 chicken (tika masala and masala korai, 1 lamb, and 1 veggie dish (aloo danir), along with 2 garlic naan. Everything we ordered was amazing. The rice was plenty for 4 ppl. The dishes had so much flavor and good portion size. And the garlic naan was crispy and perfect with the curry. The owners were so nice and even gave us some complimentary rice pudding for dessert! Highly recommend this place and we will be back for sure!

I visited Ruchi Bangladesh Restaurant in Atlanta, and the experience was genuinely impressive.

The pakora chaat was one of the best appetizers I’ve had—perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The shrimp korai was excellent, and the rupchanda (pomfret) dish was the highlight of the meal—rich, well-cooked, and truly special. The cheese naan with herbs was a pleasant surprise and a treat on the house.

To be fair, the kala bhuna could have been a bit more authentic, especially compared to the Chattogram-style version.

What really stood out was the manager: welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in matching food to customer taste while keeping presentation on point. If every Bangladeshi restaurant had managers like this, the standard would naturally keep rising.

Highly recommended.

We have gotten delivery many times and decided to dine in for the first time. The food as always was incredible, but we were really blown away by the service. Bidut was so nice and attentive, and we loved his recommendations and little gifts from the kitchen. Portions are super generous and pricing is very reasonable. We’ll be back!

This place was incredible. The waiter was excellent he asked all the right questions to navigate us to the exact selection we were looking for. The food, ya This is the best beriany I have ever had. It came in a closed clay pot and the rice was very fluffy it had a lot of meet and it was tender enough to eat with a spon. What a treat.

This place has a great BIR-style Chicken Curry, which is exactly what I was looking for today.

Our waitress, Rumee, was very friendly and double-checked our order after we gave it to her. I really like it when wait staff confirm orders like this. She was great.

As we were waiting for our food, I could hear the chef, Shajon, cooking it. I heard the familiar chain of sounds you get as ingredients are combined with the base gravy to make the sauce. The pan moving back-and-forth over the burner to spread it out to cook down, scraped from the sides, and the chef’s spoon tapping on the edge of the pan. Even though this was my first time here, hearing this gave me confidence that the food was going to be great, and it was.

Their Chicken Curry has the classic onion-base flavor, which is my favorite. It had a nice level of heat, and he added a little bit of sweetness and pieces of onion, which was a nice touch.

Rumee then brought us some rice pudding, which was good. Not too sweet and just the right size for a small dessert to end the meal.

Overall a great experience and I look forward to coming back.

What a great find! I was fortunate enough to have lunch there and was served by the most wonderful waitress, Rumee, who recommended the Beef Kala Bhuna and it was delicious! The “everything” naan was outstanding as well as the daal soup. I will absolutely be coming back here.

Run, don’t walk! Absolutely amazing dining experience. From the hospitality to the amazing food, I cannot sing this place’s praises enough. First time eating this type of cuisine. The menu and offerings were thoroughly explained. Lots to choose from, something for everyone—even for picky eaters. Generous portion sizes and great prices. I wish I lived in Atlanta because I would be coming here every week. Definitely a must-go if you’re in the area.

Amazing restaurant! If you love flavor and great service, you must try Ruchi Bangledeshi! Every dish we’ve ever had there is outstanding. If you aren’t sure what to order, Bidut (our waiter) is outstanding at asking you what you like and walking you through the menu to help you figure it out. He always has something new for us to try, and it’s always great. My wife has Celiac and must eat gluten free. They have quite a few GF options, and the chef is also willing to modify some dishes as needed. Some of our favorite dishes are Shaak Ponir (chopped spinach, cheese, cream sauce), Chicken Tikka Moshol-la (similar to the Indian version of masala), Kopi Pakora (cauliflower app with a nice kick!), Lasooni chicken (spicy app), Mushroom Begoon (sliced mushrooms and eggplant), and Aloo Bhaji (almost like hash browns…incredible!). And their rice is terrific (so is the Naan bread!). Prices are very reasonable and you can bring your own wine, no corkage fee. So go be adventurous. Try something new. Tell them what you like and let them recommend dishes.
