for my family. We live a little far out, so I decided to drive there since this is the nearest location to us. We don’t use DoorDash or Uber Eats because by the time it arrives, the food is usually cold — that’s exactly what we try to avoid.
That’s also why I always ask for my food to be cooked to order. I don’t mind waiting extra time if it means everything will be fresh and hot.
I politely said, “Can I please get it cooked to order? I appreciate it.” I was told yes, of course. I waited 5–10 minutes, assuming everything was being made fresh.
When I opened the bag, the fries and nuggets were cold. The only thing hot was the burger patty. That’s extremely disappointing, especially after specifically asking for fresh food and driving there to avoid getting cold food in the first place.
If something can’t be made fresh, just be honest. Customers appreciate honesty more than being told what they want to hear. This experience makes it hard to want to return. I will be filling a complaint with a manager.

It’s actually insane how long we had to wait and there was barely anyone in the drive thru or main lobby. The guy running wasn’t rude necessarily but kept doing things to make it more inconvenient for us when we asked for simple things like sauce and to get a to go bag. I’ve worked at McDonald’s so I’m not trying to flame anyone but man was this a disappointment Chillis is cheaper and faster I recommend over this every time

I like many others saw the media coverage about the new McCrispy chicken strips at McDonald’s.
I saw the commercials and Internet post showing beautiful chicken strips etc.
I was confident that McDonald’s spent millions on research on how to gain market share against the major players in the field. The Chic Filet’s, Raising Cains, Zaxby’s, PDQ, Magoo’s, KFC, Popeye’s, Bojangles etc
What I ate today was the absolute worst example of a chicken strip, I’ve ever eaten.
They were greasy, burnt,flavorless, rubbery, low grade chicken.
Maybe go back and train management and staff not to cook them over their time and then hold them in warming bins?
The best part of the others that have perfected this simple chicken strip meal is fresh chicken, breaded to order and fried golden brown
Simple in theory, not so simple in practice as demonstrated by the attached picture

They want you to eat your food dry! make sure you ask for your sauces at the second window, because if you ask when you order the food, you won’t have it in the bag.
