I always order the tofu pho here and it never disappoints! I appreciate how they pay attention to textures by adding the tofu skin and crunchy peanuts (on the side so it can be left out). We also got Vietnamese coffee and I appreciated that for the hot coffee the condensed milk came on the side instead of already being added in so we could customize the sweetness!
The outside seating area is so lovely with the sound of the fountain and the string lights. Can’t wait to come back!

Pretty decor inside. The front area with the fountain and gate is fun and pretty too. I can see why this place got voted top viet spot in Baton Rouge’s 225. I got the combo pho. The soup was good, it had some flavor, but tasted thin. There was plenty of meat, tendon, and tripe. They have a drink menu with sweet iced drinks averaging $6 and some beer and sake selections. Although it’s named bao, there weren’t any bao buns? Service didn’t take too long, and there were many tables spread out. Free parking in the lot. It’s right next to an Asian grocery store too. Not the best pho I’ve had but passable. I could come here again for pho or something else.

This place is amazing! The bo kho was super flavorful and went perfectly with the fresh bread, and the tamarind wings were crispy, tangy, and cooked perfectly. The place has a cozy café like vibe. We loved the gate at the front and the fountain inside. Everything felt warm and inviting while still casual. Their Vietnamese coffee was also fire! Highly recommend this place to friends and family!

This restaurant has good Vietnamese food. The food tasted great. The service was adequate. The atmosphere was fine. For dinner we order pho and Vietnamese egg rolls. The egg rolls were excellent. If you’ve never tried Vietnamese egg rolls they are way better than what you might get at most Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend trying the egg rolls (picture provided with this review) they are life changing.

I DoorDashed it to my hotel and, as a seattle resident, have access to many Vietnamese restaurants. I can say that this was one of the top 3 Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had. And I have eaten in Vietnam. If you like Asian food try this place. It’s spectacular and the food is simple authentic Vietnamese dishes done perfectly. I had the pork banh mi and the Rice Plate- Nem Nuong. Both were incredible. Thanks for making my work week away from home much better. What an excellent restaurant. So rare to find.

The aesthetic is attractive and clean.
I homestly, can give a 5 out of 5..

I’ve been here several times, and the food is always FIYA. Tried the broken rice dish today, pork chop, chicken, and broken rice with fish sauce. Best dish so far for me. I consider their Pho’ the best in town, but this broken rice is on top of my list next time I’m in. Service was quick and professional, staff was very friendly, and all the dishes were hot. Great all-around experience. Thanks, Bao.

The service and staff were great. The edamame was better than any I’ve ever had and the egg rolls were as expected. I got the spicy broth with beef and brisket. It wasn’t very spicy as I still added sriracha and I didn’t really care for the flavor as it tasted more like a seafood broth. It was also a little greasy. I would not get it again but would return for service and to try other items.

My family and I ate here recently, the food was ok, not good enough for us to go back. However, I really enjoyed the pho soup I got the seafood one, my family members both got beef. It was truly the highlight of the meal. For appetizers I suggest the egg rolls and that’s it.
