Fried oysters and tuna were good appetizers also.
Wear the gloves and bib!!
The food was amazing. I had a boil for one and it was far more food than expected. I usually have to order some more sausage to go with it hut, I amp most couldn’t eat everything. The amount of food you get is great for the price. It all had great flavor also.
The service was on point also. When I was trying to buy that extra sausage, the lady insisted that I wouldn’t need it where sue could have just let me waste the money Bonnie. It was greatly appreciated. She was very nice.
The atmosphere was great too. Very happening place with many TV’s all around to watch. The bar area looked very good also.
I would definitely come back here and I would suggest you give it a shot also, you won’t be disappointed.
The bathroom was very clean, which I appreciated. I ordered the Seafood Boil for Two and overall it was good, but I personally didn’t care for all the crawfish. We were told the boil “comes as it comes,” meaning you can’t substitute or remove anything. That was disappointing because I definitely would’ve taken the crawfish out.
Another thing to note: one of the hostesses goes around taking photos of customers at each table, and later they return to sell the pictures in two different frame options—so expect that part of the experience.
Would I come back?
Probably not.
Carmella was a delightful and extremely attentive hostess who looked after us, nothing was too much trouble.
Mojitos were one of the best I’ve had & believe me when I say I’ve had shockers, so well done to the cocktail maker- thank you!
My gf thought her seafood boil was pretty good (liked the flavor and amount of food, thought the actual crab legs lacked actual meat, for the most part). The shrimp tacos app (over priced for what you get (2 tacos with 6 shrimp total for like $16) but the flavor was decent). Gf also like her Blue Hawaiian drink, did say it was smaller than the menu pictures and not worth $15).
Service:
Even though we had a reservation and was on time, we had to wait 15 minutes bc “nobody wants to sit outside”. Sorry, but what’s the point of a reservation if you have to wait bc they don’t actually reserve your table and instead give it to walk-ins who don’t want to sit outside. Hostess was nice though. Additionally, I couldn’t order what I wanted bc they were out of avocado for the Ahi tuna app, which it happens, but still annoying. Lastly, I ordered an app as an entree bc I wasn’t too hungry and they brought it out 5 minutes after we ordered but before my gf’s entree. When we told the server about this, we were told that bc it’s an app, you cannot order it as an entree and it has to come out beforehand. To me, that’s absurd. The server spoke maybe 10 words to us overall
Oh and be prepared to feel like you’re at the club with their music choice and volume even though it’s 7pm on a Thursday, lol.
They charged 12.5% tax (before the non-cash 3% charge) even though the sale tax for the area is 9%. Not the end of the world money-wise, but shady nonetheless.
Overall, would definitely recommend the seafood boil and would come back bc of it all the while hoping the other stuff has gotten corrected with better training and/or employees.
