We were craving pizza while visiting Pawleys Island and decided to give R’Way Pizza a try, and I’m so glad we did. What a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The staff here is incredible and really makes this place special. It’s definitely a locals’ spot, and everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially Janet. She greeted us right when we walked in, learned our names, and actually remembered them throughout our visit. She even gave us great local tips, which we really appreciated. It’s rare these days to find that kind of personal connection at a restaurant.
Now, the food was absolutely delicious. The pizza was perfect, not too thick, not too thin, just right and full of flavor. You can order by the slice or a whole pie, and they’ll even let you do half-and-half toppings. The Caesar salad was also excellent, and the large is huge easily enough for four people to share. Their Philly cheesesteak is a must try, loaded with meat and far from skimpy.
This place has such a friendly, down to earth vibe that we even ran into Janet at the beach the following day and she still remembered our names. Now that’s service with heart!
We loved our experience at R’Way and will definitely be back next time we’re in Pawleys Island. Highly recommend!

I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and could barely eat 25%. My kiddo destroyed my fries. She ordered the buffalo chicken calzone, didn’t like the blue cheese crumbles so we reordered without the blue cheese, she loved it. Excellent all around. Empty picture was the pretzel.

We are traveling with a group of 19 people for a women’s golf weekend in Pawley’s Island. R’Way so graciously accommodated our large group. The team at the restaurant was amazing – super friendly & helpful. The atmosphere was really fun, lots of tv’s to watch all the sports games. The food was also great! We ordered a large house salad to split, that could have easily been split between 4 people, chicken R’Way Pubwich, and a chicken finger sub with tots – all delicious. To go, we got a slice of the lemon cheesecake, which was incredible – easily one of the best pieces of cheesecake I’ve ever had.

*** Increased rating after the Restaurant’s 10/12 satisfactory reply. Will now likely try one of their menu items in the future for lunch or a snack. We heard great things about this restaurant is why we wanted to try them to begin with. Highly recommend Rosie’s if you want a dinner of Meat, Side, Salad & Garlic Knot. We are not pizza or sub dinner people so it was our fault trying to get what we wanted from a restaurant that does not cater to a customer’s to go order request when all the items are available on a menu. I trust based on reply dining in would have been different ***

What is not feasible is for a customer to know or expect a reputable restaurant to have a 14yr old 3 day employee working after 7pm on a school night with no assistance. I have lower my rating based on this reply as a the reason rather than end your reply with the Thank you for recognizing have components but unable to accommodate **

Wanted to order dinner from here because I heard great things about it but was disappointed they could not accommodate my request. I gave them 3 stars because I realize if it is not an entree option it’s not. However, they sell all the components and felt the order taker could have asked.
I wanted 2 Chicken Parmesan Dinners. They have a Chicken Parmesan Sub, they have spaghetti and they have salad.
The girls solution was to order 2 Chicken Parmesan subs minus the bread, 2 Side Salads & 2 Spaghetti Dinners for $57.94. When I inquired could they just give us each a half of one spaghetti dinner because we just wanted it as a side she said no because they don’t sell a side of spaghetti. It just seemed too complicated, problematic, and messy.
I am actually thankful though because we discovered Rosie’s.
We got 2 Chicken Parmesan dinners for $35.90 and it was the very best Chicken Parmesan I have had in over 30 years.

We have been vacationing in Murrells Inlet for 10 years and can’t believe we’ve never stopped here before. We both got calzones and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had! No exaggeration! This is a small local joint with such a cool vibe and friendliest staff. We will be definitely be back.

After spending a long weekend at the Litchfield Inn, we just ordered a large ultimate pizza with R’Way. Never been there before, but it was close by, a local restaurant and the reviews were good. We were not disappointed! The pizza was delicious. Great crust and ingredients. Oh, and a large pizza is 20″ in size. My husband barely got it in the passenger seat of our SUV. Great price, owner and pizza.

$20 for 12 wings. So dry they might as well be jerky. Loaded fries dried out too. I’ve given this place so many chances but they are so inconsistent in their quality of product and the order is wrong more than it’s right, my family is happy with their product maybe 1/3 times we order. Not sure why we keep trying every few months, hoping it’s improved, but it hasn’t. Many others agree, if they actually cared when you told them they would make an effort to improve, but they don’t.

The best pizza that I have ever had! Glad I am giving a good review though. I read a bunch of the 1 star reviews that the owner responded back to very snarky. That isn’t very cool with me because you should just take the reviews and move on & be professional about it. They probably have lost customers just based on those responses because a lot of people don’t want to give business to owners who can’t take criticism well.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. At first we were a little intimidated because this place is a little hole in the wall and we’re not from around here, but I’m so glad we came in. The bartender/waitor/cashier was amazing. He was so friendly and kind. The food was amazing. I will probably eat here everytime we come to visit Pawleys Island. I really enjoyed our experience.
