This coffee shop has the best atmosphere! If I had all day to sip coffee and read a book, this is the place I would come!!
The seasonal coffees are tasty! The breakfast/pastry options good and big enough to share.
The best part is the little outside seating area. You can work, read a book, or just relax.

I love this place, even more so with my morning classes being my only classes on Tuesday and Thursday.
This is my official study report for this cafe. As for seating the chairs are all comfortable and cozy, however there isn’t a lot of indoor seating. In my opinion though this is passable due to their incredible outdoor seating area. In summer and fall it is the perfect place to settle and do homework. Which despite being in the middle of the downtown isn’t too loud, plus when there are concerts you can hear them which is a neat perk. The inside part of the cafe doesn’t get too much natural light, however the outside seating I feel balances that out pretty well. In addition the prices for the coffee and baked goods is very reasonable. My favorite is the cinnamon bun latte (It’s very similar to the café au lait). In the photo I pared it with a maple bar. The order ended up costing me about 9$, with the coffee only being 3.45 before tax (16oz). They do have free WiFi and I’ve never had issues with it running sow or bugging out on me. Finally they have a single bathroom (it’s really not as much of an issue as you’d think), and free accessible water (which is a requirement for me at cafes). The cafe is also pretty small in comparison to some of the others in the area. I don’t find this to be too big of a flaw though usually there is a couple students studying or people filling out papers and planners.
Finally there are outlets everywhere! Even in the outside seating.
My only criticism is that it doesn’t have too many lunch/meal options. Most of their food is baked goods, with a small selection of tea time sandwiches (pimento with chicken on focaccia and chick salad on croissant).
However the food and coffee they do sell is very good.

Overall like I said at the beginning this is a lovely cafe, that sells great coffee and a niche vibe. If you need to sit down on a nice day with a lovely book I can’t help but recommend this place.

Piercing Overview:

Ambiance: 9.5 out of 10

Very cutesy. Small and Intimate Space. Nice place to study while you have a coffee or just come to chill.

Food/Drink: 8.5 out of 10

Items I Tried:
-Cinnamon Bun Latte (Modifications: add oat milk and whipped cream): Overall it was a very light drink
-Cheese, Pesto, and Tomato Foccacia: Requested for it to be warmed up, I would recommend asking for extra toasty, it was good
-Chai Cold Brew (Modification: add oat milk)
-Beetlejucie (Modifications: oat milk): im said it was just a seasonal drink because it was really good

Price: $$

Decent pricing, comparable to starbucks

Parking: 4 out of 10

Limited parking due to downtown traffic and location. But if you know where to park then its not HORRIBLE. May have to walk a little.

There is truly NOTHING I can say that needed improving from my visit. Food? Delicious. Coffee? Decadent. Atmosphere? Magical. Service? Top notch! I cannot wait to return. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, fruit tart, and the seasonal butter beer cold brew!

Great atmosphere and nice coffee shop!! but the drinks need a lot of work! I ordered a matcha, and I have had other drinks here that are okay. But I’m series about my Matcha. It was a light brownish color, wasn’t a true green or a good quality vibrant green, I couldn’t taste the actual matcha powder and it was watered down.

Coffee is always delicious pastry is normally good. Sometimes the pasties are over heated when warmed but overall they are good. I rather take pasty cold and heat them myself due to overheating. I love sweet iced coffee.

This is the cutest little coffee shop I’ve ever been to, it’s so cozy and the outside alleyway seating is so different. The baristas were so sweet and offered advice on what to get since it had been our first time there. The service was fast, and the chocolate tart was really good. My latte tasted amazing, and the matcha latte my partner got was also really great. We can’t wait to go back.

An inviting coffee shop, definitely try the cold brew!! They have only been open since May 2024 but are already become a fixture in the downtown area! They feature Zealla’s pastries!! The decor and layout is really unique

My daughter bought me a hot chocolate and commented on the atmosphere having a cool vibe. The hot chocolate was very good and rich. Next time we visit Hattiesburg, I’ll have to go in. For now, based on her thoughts of their coffee, interior, customer service, and the hot chocolate I had, I’d say this is a good spot.

i cant comment on the food or drink, as my friend and i weren’t able to try anything. id heard great things about this place and was excited to try. we came in for the first time, unsure of the hours as they weren’t posted. the two ladies at the counter immediately walked to the front, but were extremely unwelcoming and looked miserable. my friend politely asked if they served blended drinks, to which the bigger lady replied “not 30 minutes before close, we don’t .” i said “we didn’t realize. y’all have a good night.” i was disappointed i didn’t get to try anything, but glad i didn’t give my business to someone so rude. i work in customer service myself, and have never replied to a guest in that manner – there’s no reason to, especially since we were being so nice. we won’t be returning, as we didn’t feel welcome. it’s truly a shame this is how their business is represented. i hope they find better help in the future. if you would like great customer service and delicious coffee, however, i strongly reccomend Kaffehaus Fabelhaft!
