I stopped by here for a quick lunch today, get the barbecue bowl it’s enough to feed 2 people dinner servings huge portions and very friendly service I will definitely be coming back here. Highly recommend for anybody to try out.

This is the best brisket I have ever eaten, my wife shares my opinion and quickly adds “Im from Lockhart”. For those of you that dont know Lockhart is the official bbq capital of Texas, no kidding its in the constitution of Texas. Previously before moving back to Dallas arear we lived in Austin so Salt lick , Freddie’s they were our go to. Folks this is better, and you dont have to stand in line hrs to get ya sum. The Brisket may be Great but man that pulled pork is delicious too , you could die here of meat sweats, if the Brisket and Pork dont get ya the Dino ribs will . The supporting cast is amazing too , like Mac and Cheese forget about it this stuff you could eat for a meal alone. The elotes is sooo good my abuela approves ( Im not of Hispanic origin so hope I spelled it right. Every time I go he’s out of mashed tater but I pay to lick the bowl ( get whatever tiny bit thats not enough to make a full order lol) PEOPLE DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE, Just dont go before I get mine first PLEASE. kidding but seriously for the love of God y’all need this in your lives.

We recently use JC Smokehouse for catering and they were amazing! Food was fabulous, on time, and they set everything up perfectly. Also, be sure to add the brisket mac & cheese; it’s a huge crowd pleaser!

We often stop for bbq and the best place forsure is Jc’s smokehouse. Absolutely outstanding. I’ve put my employees on their food as well. I can’t single out one item that’s great, cause overall everything is great! Every side is fresh, meat is outstanding and all the employees are so happy to serve!
