I was very amazed by my experience from start to finish with dessert. The Cashier was an amazing hostess for the restaurant she was able to describe each thing on the menu in full detail. The Chef was an amazing African American woman whom had a true passion for cooking and the art of trying different things that paired together well I enjoyed the Street Corn with Shrimp a the Little Pigs burger topped with bacon jam. The monstrsity named the stuffed Jalpeno Burger was divine intervention it cooks for 30 mins to perfection the burger is bigger than your face. My wife and I truly recommended this to all our friends and family.

If you want a great burger from a family-owned restaurant this is your place. I ordered their anti-resolution burger (December burger special) which came with 2 5 oz burger patties, 4 strips of bacon, 4 slices of cheese, onion straws, pickles, tomato, lettuce mix and thousand island dressing. It was presented beautifully and tasted incredible. I need to go back to try their other burgers, the frozen chocolate covered bananas and other baked goods and I look forward to seeing what other special burgers they come up with!

We went here after finding them on groupon. Driving up, I was already alerted to the fact that this place is in a very unfortunate location. The parking is awkward, but doable. Once you walk in, the restaurant is setup to be simple, but also capable of growing with a crowd. I wouldn’t go here expecting 5 star cleanliness, but I would go here expecting 5 star food. The food was delicious. The one worker (who I assume is also the owner) was quick to get our food cooked and ready. I ordered the Ferguson burger and it was absolutely delicious. It was also HUGE. They give you lots of food for the money. Also the desserts are wonderful. Of course they have the frozen bananas (which my kids and myself loved), but even better was the sweet potato gooey butter cake. It was a wonderful blend of richness, but not overpowering. I could see myself eating a dozen slices and not getting sick like normal gooey butter cake. (of course I would probably have eaten enough calories for a small village after that many).

I think that the lady who worked at the counter was really nice. However a stuffed burger apparently takes 30 minutes to make. This would not have been a problem since we read the warning, however, we were waiting for our food for over an hour. The burger I had was really good, and I enjoyed it but if you’re trying to get lunch for work I would suggest today you avoid the stuffed burger.

This a little hidden gem in the Spanish Lake area. Food is very good and filling, friendly service, nice size clean restaurant for dining and events. They also have a $3 happy hour that gives great portion sizes and options. The menu also has non meat options. I love the vegetable flat bread.

I’ve been to Banana Yummies several times and I absolutely love the food! I currently live out of state, but every time I come to St. Louis to visit, I make a personal pit stop to Banana Yummies to have their famous, Big Rich Burger. It is amazing! I would recommend Banana Yummies to anyone who loves great food and a great atmosphere.

Ohh my goodness, there is a sign that says they are not fast food…they did not lie. A 1 hour wait, no lie…for burgers and wings. Worth the wait? I think not! Flavorless and expensive. I could have fixed this at home but this time the kids would have ate it. Will not be going back. Good luck to the owner, she was very nice.

Just tried for the 1st time today. A bit pricey for what it was. Had loaded nachos. The meat was bland tasting and what I’m assuming is salsa tastes kinda like maranara sauce? The anti-resolution burger was delicious. The rich burger was ok and I also didn’t realize an 8 ounce burger consists of two 4oz patties not one big 8oz patty. Red hot riplet fries were a small amount for price. Mexican street corn was good, but could have used a bit more salt. Gooey butter cake was good. Only had regular kind. Would like to try some of the other unique flavors. Overall will give three stars for now.
