The food was pretty average for AYCE, it’s a hole-in-the-wall style place. It’s not usually that busy and the prices are just average as well. It’s a good place to go that won’t surprise you but won’t let you down.

Sushi is so fresh and delicious! We went during the week and it was really nice. The service was phenomenal as well. Their menu includes AYCE and a regular menu as well. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Astounding, but not in a good way. I’m reluctant to write a bashful review for a family-owned restaurant, but the current reviews at a 4.4/5 do consumers an injustice. If you have ever had sushi, you would know this place should be closer to a 3/5.

I did the AYCE sushi, thinking my worst-case scenario would be just “passing” sushi. I was wrong. For two people, the price for lunch was $74. This was also the first time I left AYCE sushi, while not hungry, without an appetite.

Tempura – this was the final straw. The vegetable tempure was actually a mix of carrot and daikon/radish, similar to what you would find in a vietnamese restaurant. The tempura had a crispy exterior but was filled with batter and was mushy on the inside. Truly one of the worst. The gyoza was entirely deep fried, which I disliked too.

Sushi – the sushi looks fairly decent in these photos, but be cautious. Generally, the fish was chewy, with a jerky consistency and overall was rather dry. This was the case for the tuna, seared tuna, and salmon. The hamachi was the only thing semi-palatable.

If that wasn’t bad enough, some sushi selections came with unsolicited sauce. The sauce looks like grated daikon and has a slightly sweet taste. It’s not outright offensive, but I strongly disliked that it came without warning and on my nigiri.

Rolls- terrible (flavor and selection). Most of the selections consist of fake crab, which feels really gross after a bite or two. The rolls themselves are made poorly—in a rush—and crumble upon any contact. But my biggest gripe was that every roll was plastered in sauce. Just bad.

Service – service is why I am giving 2 stars. The entire place is served by this kid, who looks overwhelmed serving all the tables and 20+ people.

Behind the sushi counter are two chefs. They occasionally serve dishes too. One looks the part with the white top and apron, while the other is wearing shorts and slides. The latter’s attire is entirely inappropriate for an employee, and it really didn’t help the appetite.

This place is a kind of undiscovered gem.

It’s AYCE, but when you place an order at once, you can max out 10 orders. In fact, this allows you to continue to enjoy fresh food. Like some restaurants, they don’t give you a lot of cheap food and make you feel full, but slowly bring you high-quality products.
Everything was good, but I wish the staff were more friendly. It will bring them more tips, but they don’t seem to know.

Food is good. Thats pretty much it. Everything is down hill from here on. I don’t recommend going in groups of 6 or more for all you can eat. You won’t get the quantities you order its what ever they want to send. They will take 40 mins to bring 1 round and another 40mins for the next. Incomplete orders. No customer service asking if you need a refill or anything else. We couldn’t wait for round 3, we had to leave after being there 2 and a half hours. It was no packed either. Made my choice to not return here ever.

Don’t let the exterior of the building fool or discourage you from trying this place. What may be lacking on the outside, they more than make up in taste, service, and atmosphere.
Went for a birthday celebration and experience was terrific.

Come here all the time. Tbh the first establishment of this chain I went to was the one called “Joe’s sushi” near Cerritos on South St. It’s low key but real delicious and a lot of bang for you dollar. Anyway this place is similar but better in my opinion. Ambience wise and servers are a nicer in my opinion. In the other one they can tend to be a little off putting. Anyway besides that. Great food. Decent price. If you want great all you can eat sushi or even just sushi by the roll then this is a go to place.
