day with my group of friends- 12 of us.
Friendly service, delicious apps, food and drinks-great presentation. Nice decor-great for groups and they also have booths for couples and smaller groups.
Every staff was kind and accommodating- shout out to Santiago! Will definitely be back! 10/10 – seafood rice, choritos ala chalaca, classic chicken, combate criollo supreme, leche tigre ceviche. Free parking is a plus as well.
Wait staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. They had to give me a charged iPad once I noticed mine was dead. I liked that the wait staff worked together as a team so they helped one another and it didn’t feel like we had to look for one specific person.
Drinks were strong and tasty so worth the price. The presentation of the food was awesome. The portion was perfect for two people and we even had leftovers. Food tasted fresh and the sauces were delicious.
We waited nearly an hour for our food without updates from the staff. Communication between the kitchen and the service team seemed very limited. A simple update would have made a big difference.
Unfortunately, we could also see several food orders sitting at the service station after leaving the kitchen, waiting to be delivered to tables and cooling down before reaching customers. This suggested a coordination issue between the kitchen and the floor team.
At the bar, we were told that after 10 PM certain prepared drinks — including a pisco sour — would no longer be made because they take longer to prepare. However, from what we observed, each bartender was working but not overwhelmed, and the situation did not appear to justify refusing menu items. We stayed until midnight and never saw the bar operating at a level that would require stopping drink preparation.
Valentine’s Day is understandably busy, but organization and communication are key in hospitality. The kitchen appears small for the volume of customers, and the dishes seem to require detailed preparation, which likely contributes to delays.
The owner however was polite( yes, we had to meet the owner).
The restaurant atmosphere is nice, but service coordination between the bar, kitchen, and floor team needs improvement specially on busy days
We had the passion fruit pisco sours, leche de tigre carretillera, jalea, causa de cangrejo, and maracuya mousse. Everything was excellent. The presentation is also very good – I can’t recommend this place enough.
Maybe we went too late but the music was loud and the bar crowd were lots of men and 2 couples that kept making out. In the future we might come for lunch or order to go instead.
