We came here in the off season and everything was amazing! I would say the food was pretty good, everything was flavorful, but just remember that when you go, the portion sizes are huge! You could easily share one plate with 2 people. The service was great, the lady serving us was nice and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice, it’s a small restaurant in downtown Breckenridge. Overall very good experience!

First, he had an attitude since we walked in. He was very dry & wouldn’t indulge in conversation. He also assumed we were from Texas, so he profiled us.

When he brought out the ticket, he had a “party tip” included. We were 3 people.
I asked the other young lady, why that was included if we were only 3 guest. She said she would ask.
We over heard him say “lo le hace” meaning that “doesn’t matter.” It does. We’re 3 guest, not a party.

He wouldn’t remove it, so we left $148, because si le hace. We’re not a party, and you tip off service not the servers needs.

He THEN ALSO followed us OUTSIDE the restaurant and YELLED at us that we MUST pay the service given to us. We were going to pay. I am also a server and bartender so I PAY my servers. But he didn’t have a good attitude, was disrespectful when asked about an add on, & followed us outside to scream at us.

This is also not the first review about hidden fees and service, so that’s how you know it’s not just us.

You don’t try to screw over your last “tourist” guest bc you didn’t have other or much business that night.
Do better.

Here in Breckenridge for an off season conference and was scouting the old town for food. I decided to have lunch here and glad that I did. They have an excellent menu, even a small menu of American food available, but the traditional Mexican fare is plentiful. I had the Jalisco burrito with shredded beef – excellent.

This place was so good I took my wife here for dinner the same night! This time, she had the Jalisco burrito and I the chicken mole plate – yum! We also had a Cadillac Margarita and a house made Sangria, both great.

Being off season, we got to chat a bit with the owners son who works as a server in the family business. What a great young man, he was very helpful with the menu questions, the region of music that was playing and we just genuinely visited. It made for a very nice evening.

Wonderful authentic flavors with some of the best carnitas I’ve had in a while. Food is reasonably priced, for mountain towns at least,

Hector truly goes above and beyond, exceptional service! We had a group dinning on a busy Friday holiday weekend and he was on top of everything. Food was great, big servings, and the salsa is amazinggg

Absolutely fantastic food. Great service. The fajitas were great Atmosphere was really nice. It’s kinda located off the beaten path. But it’s definitely a good place to eat. The salsa and queso was some of the best I’ve ever had

Take it from an authentic Mexican, do not waste your money here. The food is bland at best. Everything tastes off. The menudo had like 6 pieces of meat at most and it’s not cheap! I ordered tacos that were tasteless, and I sent back my plate. They charged a gratuity when it was a party of 4. They probably know their food isn’t good, which why they force you to pay gratuity.

I visited Fiesta Jalisco in Breckenridge, and the experience was an absolute nightmare. The moment we walked in, the service was shockingly bad rude, slow, and completely uninterested. The food was terrible, the drinks were a disaster, and the prices were outrageously high for such low quality.
We left extremely frustrated and disappointed. I would never return, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

We came in as a group of five and were given one tiny bowl of salsa. When we politely asked for more, the owner brought another very small bowl and was visibly irritated by the request. When my mom later asked for additional salsa, the owner slammed a drink down on the table and said, “Look, the salsa is not free.”
At that point, we were on the verge of walking out. My mom tried to de-escalate and said it was okay, that we would pay for it. He then begrudgingly brought one more tiny bowl. So in total: three very small bowls of salsa for five people.
When the check arrived, things got worse. An 18% mandatory gratuity was added without explanation, and we were also charged $15 for salsa. The total bill was $211.34 for five people.
To top it off, when the owner placed the check on the table, he said, “I’m glad you pay for the salsa.” It felt rude, confrontational, and completely unnecessary.
This was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve had. Poor attitude, poor service, and shockingly unprofessional behavior from the owner. We will never go back.

Party of 8, 6 adults 2 kids and charged gratuity. Drinks never refilled. Salsa wasn’t great. Food was large portions and okay tasting, and decently priced. Probably won’t return for second try.
