10am Tues Sept. 9th. Waitress was very friendly and courteous. My scrapple and egg on wholegrain toast was made very well. Its tough to make scrapple good, but they nailed it. Breakfast potatoes were yummy. Loved the atmosphere and you’ll see the local wildlife when sitting outside.

Olivia was an amazing waitress!! As soon as we sat down we had water and coffee served and our orders placed within minutes. Olivia was extremely accommodating and even brought us extra creamer for our coffee so that we never ran out. I have a soy allergy and am always worried about if I can eat at a place but Olivia knew exactly what I could have and made sure everything was soy free! The food came out just as fast as the service and everything was wonderful! I got the crab omelette and it was fantastic! Everyone at our table got something different and everything was just as good as the next! It tastes as good as it looks! The next time we’re in town we will definitely be coming here!!

TLDR: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Food quality is terrible. Bad and disorganized environment. Overpriced and poor quality.
This used to be a great place, we stopped going years ago due to slow service, high prices and generally overcrowded.
We gave it another try. It was not overcrowded which should have been a warning. The first order had crab which they didn’t realize they were out until time of service (it was late brunch). The substitute order came out with raw egg instead of poached. Other meals (pancakes) were served with what appeared to be MOLD (see pic)!!! Back of house was seemingly in complete disarray.
Waitress was nice and apologetic. There are so many places for breakfast and brunch within walking distance, go somewhere else. It’s cheaper, nicer and food quality won’t be questionable.

Really great little place. Feels very homey. Delicious bacon, eggs and pancakes. They also are giving back to children who do not have SNAP benefits currently. Highly recommend.

My family has eaten breakfast here since they opened in 2013. Relaxing mood, outdoor seating and inside, if you prefer. Used to be relatively inexpensive but since inflation, the prices are much higher now. I had 3 breakfast tacos and tomato juice, while my son had creamed chipped beef. Both were large servings but were overpriced considering how much I spent in all those years.

The food was awesome and the meal was very filling. The wait staff was very nice and got us everything we asked for and quickly. The Santa breakfast was also very fun for the kids and my youngest was so excited.
My only complaint is that I got the sunriser meal which is pictured here that comes with 3 sausage 3, bacon 3 pancakes and 3 eggs as well as hash browns and toast. However the amount of eggs was only about 1, maybe 2 small eggs. I didn’t say anything because it was already a lot of food and I didn’t finish everything but if I’m paying for 3 eggs it should look like 3 eggs.
That being said the bacon, sausage and especially the french toast was super good and I’d honestly go back tomorrow if I lived closer.
Make the 3 eggs actually 3 eggs and you get 5 stars for sure.

What a great choice for a variety of breakfast food! Right off the Asbury strip sits Sunrise Cafe. They offer inside and outside seating(has enclosure from the elements). All tables are within social distancing procedures. The coffee is great served in their own branded mugs that are available for purchase. I ordered the breakfast empanada sampler. This was a great choice to change up the regular eggs and bacon routine. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy. She had no regrets. I went on a sat morning around 10am during March and we had no trouble getting a table. I definitely recommend!

I know people love UBPH, but this is my favorite breakfast place in OCNJ. They have a nice small menu but with really good food. They have healthy alternatives and classic heart attacks on a plate. They added a covered outdoor area which makes seating even better, especially in the hot sun or the rain. They sometimes have a fly issue they need to find a way to consistently address.

The morning specials available are fantastic, $5.99 specials from 7-9. The portions here are generous as well! One thing that stood out here was that the home fries came with some seasoning instead of just being completely bland like everywhere else. The food was great along with the staff. I recommended this place 100% as a must go if you’re in town.
