For starters I rarely make reviews at restaurants and I try to be as positive as possible when I do.

However, my family and I ordered beef and steak burritos and a chicken, cheese and rice meal and it was rough.

The burritos we not edible. The beef, steak and chicken tasted old (like really old, turned maybe?). The rice was dry snd crunchy, tasted old and there was no cheese on the meal.

A hidden gem in the Hickory Flat area. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. The best dish is the Bambasos, but they have a lot of different options. Myra is the absolute best server ever, and Erik behind the bar makes a great margarita. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

This has been and always will be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Cherokee area! The atmosphere, the food, the people everything is always spot on. Their brisket chimichangas and Tamales are my absolute favorites. This was the first time I have ever had their flan and I regret that statement. I can’t believe I have been missing out on it this entire time. This place is hands down the best in the area and I always look forward to next time I eat there.

Top notch—a locals favorite. Best margaritas around—6 bucks for jumbo house on Monday. The food here is consistently good week after week. Service is awesome. Super friendly and they want you to enjoy your meal. I’d recommend the bacon/avocado burger or any combo. You’re welcome

My wife and I were in the area and we’re looking for a Mexican restaurant to go to. My wife found this place on Google Maps that I had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were super friendly. I ordered chicken & chorizo Bambaso with a margarita and my wife ordered 3 street tacos with an Irish Coffee (and it was delicious). The food was cooked to perfection. The margarita was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back.

Service, food, atmosphere was just ok. Probably would never eat there again. Restaurant had a kinda smell which made me wish I had not pick this restaurant. The smell was like a bathroom cleaning product. Just something that I did not want to smell while eating. Never got refills on drinks and food somewhat bland.

Had a great lunch here recently. Came back for supper tonight with my hubby and son. Margaritas were delicious. Food was very good. I will say the refried beans and rice were not as warm/hot as the entree but that wasn’t a huge deal for us- more of an observation than criticism. Our server ( not sure if she spells it Leigh or Lee) did a wonderful job. We will definitely return even though there are places closer to us. If you are a sports fan- sit in the bar area and you may catch your game.

Placed a takeout order tonight. The food was very bland and had no taste or seasoning at all. My husband’s meal also had hair in it. Definitely won’t be eating here again.

Take out order: Street tacos were dry, burnt and tasteless. The salsa tastes like it came straight out of a jar. The beans weren’t bad. They didn’t even put any taco sauce, napkins, and utensils in the bag. I paid $51 for food that’s going in the trash.

Edit, gave them another chance because they are so close. Queso dip was so watery thin, it wouldn’t stay on the chip. They have a shot girl selling shots but not for the restaurant…. then she begs the table to buy her one so she can drink too. So rude and I don’t understand how this was allowed. Table of 4 but I never received my entree. I had to ask it be taken off the bill

Just bland, food wasn’t hot but plate was. Service was ok. Nothing exceptional and prices didn’t match quality or quantity
