The staff is always awesome at bushes usually. But the tender size and food quality has gone down over the years. I use to get tender Tuesday every Tuesday and the box would weight close to 4lbs with no gravys in the box. Now the box with the gravy in it doesnt weight even close to that. The tender size has gone down by like 2/3rds and the price has jumped almost double it seems. But here’s apic of the menu to help you plan.

Loved the gizzards! I ate them so fast that I didn’t realize it came with gravy. I put hot sauce on mine and sprinkled a little bit of the serendipity on top of them as well as the green beans. I personally liked this place better than the competition and the customer service was very helpful. Crunchy, hot and fresh food is what I have to say about that!

I came to order mashed potatoes and I asked the guy if I could see the family sized portion. He went in and got me the container and when I asked for 2 of them, he happily went in and got me another one!! Great customer service

The spot in Harker Heights food quality has gone way down. We got 3 meals: tenders, gizzards and chicken and were disappointed with all of it. The only thing we liked was the mashed potatoes; even the fries were bland. The breading is hard, dry and worst of all flavorless. It made us sad.

I’m here on business so when I come to Texas I always look for Bush’s Chicken. This place didn’t disappoint the food was great and their white gravy had flavor, some places are very bland. This Bush’s was great. I’m going to try them again before I leave. Harker Hights Texas Bush’s Chicken is great.

Wanted to put in an order for pickup and was told it would be 1 hour and 45 minutes because they turned the ovens off in the afternoon because they were so slow, so needed to wait for ovens to heat up. This to me is bad business who turns off there ovens that early in the day

I have visited this Bush’s location since it opened, and I have to say it has gone downhill both in terms of service and quality in my experience.
I ordered nearly $50 worth of food today.
All of the fries and rolls were extremely burnt and tasted old. I requested a new batch of fries, to which I was denied due to the supervisor explaining that “this is how our fries are.” I requested a discount or credit of some sort, due to our dissatisfaction, which was also denied.
This location has been a favorite among locals for many years, but I can see that my experience, along with others’, suggests that this may not be the case.
I do not recommend frequenting this location if you are looking for fresh food and quality customer service.

Manager in charge very unprofessional wasnt too concerned with resolving an issue they were responsible for. If they stayed at the counter with that broken receipt machine. They would’ve known my transaction already processed.

So this is what I received. I checked the okra I which was so burnt and cold I sent it back, the runner said oh you wanted it fresh? Ughhh shouldn’t it be . Came back was hot but very dark as if the oil needs to be cleaned or they were re dipped, who knows. Got home and checked the other things and they were BURNT & COLD! The rolls were so burnt they were hollow and the tender rolls were the same. Just look at the bottom of that tender roll . Overly cooked so much there was not meat. Basically gave me cracklin on toast! Reminder as to why I do not eat there and won’t be back. Save yourself the time in line. This location is trash.
