This is a fantastic place to eat! While staying in Spencer, NE, we drove to The Constitution Tavern both nights because the food was so good. I had the Swiss Mushroom Burger each time—absolutely delicious! My co-workers also enjoyed their meals, all made fresh and served hot.
The atmosphere is great—more upscale than your typical small-town bar, with nice decor and tables. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend this place—it’s definitely worth the drive!

I passed through the area several years ago. Someone recommended this place. Great advice. I don’t easily give 5-Star ratings. For me, a typical place gets three stars. Fives are saved for exceptionals. Massive quantities of food and every bit of it tasted great. The owners should start a chain of restaurants. Phoenix needs one.

Very friendly small town service with amazing food and I loved the big American flag on the wall. The salad bar was very next level compared to a lot of small bars I’ve been in. Really enjoyed it there.
