Social Profile:

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

This has to be one of the cleanest Whataburger restaurants that I’ve been in. The burgers and fries were fresh and hot as usual. The onion rings were okay but the grease was in need of changing. In fact, the manager asked me how everything was and I mentioned the grease and he said he just had the staff change it. Well worth going off the interstate a couple of miles for my old favorite! Whataburger has been in my life since I was a small child.

These franchise locations can be hit or miss. It was very busy the day that I stopped by. I witnessed great teamwork and my order was processed quickly, and everything was right.
The drive through was too long for me to wanna sit there so I took a chance and just walked in to order at the counter.

It paid off as I was in and out well before the car that I would have been behind in the drive through had even gotten through the ordering kiosk outside.

I have a very high standard for whataburger because my son is the manager of one. This however was the worst experience I have ever experienced at any whataburger I have been to and I will not be back to this location again period. The manager on shift was named Xavier and how he got that position is beyond me.

I’m glad Whataburger has made it to the Nashville area, where I first tried it. For the uninitiated, I’d rank it above McDonald’s and Burger King, about on par with Wendy’s, and just below Shake Shack. Pictured is the bacon cheeseburger, which was excellent—but I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried, especially the massive patty melt. Don’t forget to ask for the spicy ketchup if that’s your thing.

One note: I’ve had a few incomplete or incorrect orders at this location. The staff is always friendly, but it’s worth double-checking your bag.

I arrived to pick up a mobile order and was told to pull around. I was the only one in line. When I got there, the female employee insisted I wasn’t picking up an order and kept saying “no you’re not” I was very confused.

Turns out my order was marked in-store pickup instead of drive-thru — an easy mistake that could have been solved in 10 seconds. Instead, they treated it like a huge problem, repeatedly told me I wasn’t there for my own order, and made the situation unnecessarily confrontational.

After finally bringing my food out, the female employee gave me an extremely hostile stare that made the whole interaction uncomfortable and unprofessional.

Mistakes happen. Being rude and aggressive about them shouldn’t. Whataburger, you guys need to do better.

I grew up in Texas where in 2001, the 77th Texas Legislature officially recognized Whataburger as a “Texas Treasure”. I am a little biased but this food is great.
This particular location looks to be new and is clean.
The breakfast items I had were tasty but the 2 breakfast burritos were supposed to have bacon. 1 had a single strip of bacon and the second one had 4 small pieces of bacon in it. The breakfast on a bun was great. If you don’t like spicy sausage, avoid the sausage here.
The fancy ketchup, salsa verde, and picante sauce is good but the spicy ketchup with jalapeños is the best.
Why did I give service 3 stars? I will say the staff was both nice and friendly but I was 1 of only 2 people in the restaurant and my order took almost 15 minutes to prepare. If they could speed that time up, I would give 5*.

Staff couldnt be any less incompetent. Take my order inside and read it back to me three times before getting it straight. Get home and my order is not only wrong, but has not one thing on it that I specified in my order.

$15 for a meal that was completely inedible. Never again will Whataburger get my business.

Ordered at the kiosk inside. 5 orders. Took 20 minutes. Fries were fresh and hot.
Burgers must have been made in advance because they were too cool to even melt the cheese.
Love the promotional cups and the location is clean.
WHATABURGER, be advised, In-N-Out is on the way.
You’d better step up and get back to the Whataburger standards of 10 years ago or you won’t survive.

Was excited to try out the new “Limited Time Offer” boneless wings. Total disappointment. Looked like a mess and the pieces of chicken were hard and cold. Just total laziness and lack of care for someone’s food. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.

The burgers here are always cold and the cheese is never melted. Location in Clarksville TN is a lot better for the burgers. This location has always disappointed me. No response from Whataburger after reaching out to them. Will not come back to this location.

Have gone once for breakfast and once for dinner. Enjoyed the chicken biscuit, but thought the chicken was a little small. The gravy and biscuit had a good flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy. The BLT tasted good, but the toast was soft, not crisp.
We had the Southern Bacon Burger with onion rings and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with fries. The burger had a nice flavor moist, but didn’t have much barbecue flavor. Onion rings were crisp. The Spicy Chicken sandwich were hot and crispy with a nice spicy flavor kick. The fries needed to cook a few more minutes. They were not fresh, barely warm.
