Sweat Less Travel
This Wendy’s has been hit or miss over the years. But I’ve seen a marked improvement here. The franchisee is a great guy and he seems to have brought in some great managers and employees to run the place. We had terrific service today and the food was also excellent for what it is. This is probably the best Wendy’s in the area.

Ordered online. Arrived and told they didn’t have chili. The only thing my wife will eat from there. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Had to go to corporate and the gave me a credit I had to use within 30 days. I said no thank you and asked for my $16.08 refund. They pushed it off to the franchise owner here in Bourbonnais, IL and he offered me the meal and advised I received a refund from corporate, which I did not. I still haven’t received a refund. This place will forget food 9 times out of 10. I tolerated that, but straight out stealing my money when no food was taken is theft. The guy that owns this franchise is a horrible owner. I don’t go there any more because on the principal. $16.08 won’t hurt me, but he sure needs it.

Their drive thru line is always too long and it always seems like the employees don’t know what they’re doing or they’re busy with other things. Also, I went through the drive thru tonight and their credit card reader didn’t work. They said the problem was with my card, but I immediately went to Culvers and it worked just fine there. This Wendy’s is poorly run, has bad service, and seems to be understaffed. Definitely reduces my chances of going back

This location consistently screws up orders. Nearly every time we get food from here something is either missing or completely incorrect. And when I say ‘completely incorrect’, I mean you’ll get a completely different sandwich than you ordered, sometimes. More often things will be missing here and there, like a drink or fries or nuggets. It’s also kind of 50/50 on whether you’ll bring this issue to someone who owns the mistake and fixes it, or gives you a bad attitude. The food itself, when you actually get what you ordered, is generally to the quality you can expect from a standard Wendy’s location.

I had to return for my Chicken sandwich I didn’t receive during a snow storm. It was dry. You could at least compt something for the inconvenience. Just sad.

We had not been to a Wendy’s in a long time so we decided to stop here. Hubby ordered the single and fries & I ordered the Cobb salad. I asked about types of dressings, only to find out they had only three to choose from. Caesar, Ranch, & a Vinaigrette. I was hoping for A French, or Honey mustard or Blue cheese for the salad. Decided on Ranch. His burger was hot & fresh & so were his fries. My salad was beautiful as well as delicious. The dressing came on the side, as well as the crispy onions for the salad. But someone needs to cheer up the people working the drive thru window. But other than that, we will return!

Walked in and ordered a Double Stack Bag. After receiving food at counter and walking back to table realized that sandwich was ice cold and wasn’t even a double stack at all. Asked what came on sandwich and ingredients were missing from what I was told.
