Beautiful little spot on the main drag in Chester. Good variety on the menu. Endive salad, beets, and white pizza were great. Delicious generous cheese board. Wines by the glass were delicious. Tremendous attention to detail in the foods, the clean bathroom, the attractive space. Worth the short drive from Woodstock. Bar opens at 3 with snacks, restaurant at 5.

Fantastic meal – top notch service from Kenzie and we loved everything. Warmed olives with some thought into some spices, excellent salad, pizza was great, and the basque cheesecake dessert with olive oil, orange, and some salt was the perfect end. Oh and a great wine list too!

Fabulous & finger licking food, tapas style shareables and full plates. The menu is exquisite and icing on the cake is the vibe. I’ve traveled the world, and hands down this vibe and food is at the top. If you’re looking for a quiet drink at the beautiful bar or an intimate family celebration, you’re going to love every minute of it. We didn’t even wanna leave.

Meditrina is a really good place that checks all of the boxes! Food, service, vibe are all there. The tapas plates are well thought out and so good. Last night we shared the white pizza, crab toast, ricotta focaccia and the mushroom focaccia. All of them were really good. Go there, you won’t regret it.

Honestly, the endive salad alone is worth the trip. But once you start working your way through the menu at Meditrina, you quickly realize everything is that good, the fish toasts, the pizzas the pastas, dish after dish just hits.
What really sets Meditrina apart, though, is the service, whole staff is so sweet, and Justin and Amy really know their wines. They have a gift for matching the right pour to whatever you’re eating, and their recommendations never miss.

This beautiful, cozy restaurant was a nice surprise for us and seemed to be a local gathering spot. Although it was busy, it was not loud. We enjoyed a mix of yummy small plates we shared, and everything was delicious! They have an extensive selection of wines by the glass and their house red was outstanding! Can’t wait to go back and check out their wine shop!

Lovely and delicious dining experience. Great vibe in a beautiful setting. Sat at the bar for dinner. Full restaurant, on a Saturday night, but surprisingly quiet and peaceful and could hold a conversation without yelling:) We loved the lemon ricotta crostini, warm beets, bolognese and margarita pizza. Next time will try the cheese and meat plates. Amazing wine selection by glass and bottle. Did not take advantage but were told you by our cheerful server that you can order off the bottle list as long as you commit to 2 glasses. Cool idea- and great way to try more wine. Will definitely be back!

My friend and I just had dinner at Meditrina on Friday and it was amazing! The atmosphere, the warm greeting, the wine, and–wait for it–the yummy menu. Beautifully seasoned roasted beets, a delish pizza with squash and burrata and a secret ingredient that my friend guessed right off. No hints here.
The crab toast at the next table looked amazing (i.e., lots of crab not a lot of goo). Chester is a good 40 min drive for me and I’m already planning my next visit. Call for reservations. NOW.
And there’s always great wine to pick up as well. I found my summer 2025 rose there and expect to find a 2025-26 red there, too.

We had a lovely dinner here! A nice glass of wine, and a very good variety between olives, bread and cheese, a pasta and a pizza. Everything was thoughtful and well-made. Atmosphere is wonderful, it’s a very small space but you don’t feel cramped. This is exactly the kind of restaurant Chester needed (and needs more of)!
