Cam was our server and from the moment we arrived he took care of us, excellent service. Gave recommendations, checked often if we needed anything, and paced the entire night perfectly. We had drinks, starters, dinners and Dessert. It was our first time and we will be back. Can’t say enough positives about the good food and great service, as well as the exceptional oyster shucker (no shell bits, good shucks ). Loved the oysters, cobia, salad, fried chicken, and watermelon Margaritas.

My friend planned a last minute birthday dinner here on a Tuesday night. Upon arrival we sat at the bar until our entire party arrived. The bar had every desired liquor you could imagine. I ordered a craft cocktail off of the menu. Dinner was amazing. We had everything from calamari, crab stuffed hush puppies, shrimp cocktail, oyster Rockefeller, collard greens, seafood pasta, fish and chips, and a shrimp lobster roll. The food was absolutely divine. This restaurant for sure gets a 10 out of 10. The ambience was perfect. Perfect place for a date night a girls night out.

This was by far above my expectations when I walked into this oyster bar. Exceptional service with our waiter Anthony, he’s been at Caroline’s since the beginning. And James, at the oyster bar outdid himself explaining the differences in each oyster with flavor profile. Hands down THIS IS A VIBE!!! I recommend sitting at the bar and ordering Caroline’s Oyster Tasting, I promise you’ll thank me.

My boyfriend and I were heading back to the car and noticed an oyster bar ahead so we had to stop in. The hosts were kind and the place was really cute. They were just opening so there was plenty of seasoning, inside and outside.
Our server was Adam, and he was perfect. He was very nice and took great care of us.
They had a wide selection of oysters, we tried all of them and they were all good. Even made happy hour and got fat belly oysters for just $2 each !
The drinks were also great. I had a cocktail and my boyfriend had a mocktail.
Definitely looking forward for our next trip to charlotte to enjoy this amazing experience again.

This pace was great! So good that we went back three times! We always gravitated back. The first time we went I am not sure if it was Robert or Stephen but he had longer dark hair, he was so knowledgeable and guided us to the most delicious oysters we’ve ever had. Danielle was there both nights we went, she was very nice and great at her job. The cleanliness was impeccable. We did have a hiccup with the burger although. The manager was kind enough to take it off the bill. The staff we encountered were phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here on Feb. 2. The food and service was second to none. We sampled oysters, had some shrimp and finished the meal with desert. All of it was a winner. I’d post pictures of the foot, but an empty desert plate will have to do as it looked so good and we were so excited to eat it that we forgot to take a picture. Also, Cam helped us out and provided exceptional service. He had the best suggestions towards what to order and try. He’s like a modern day Moses leading diners to the promised land.

Went here with a newly acquainted friend for a late night dinner. Got their petite player with eight very fresh oysters, jumbo Shinto’s and some fish. The fish was a bit underwhelming, but loved the oyster and shrimp. Also got the breaded cobia and steamed mussels for main courses. Atmosphere nice. Several booths here as well for more private events.

Wont be back. We came to have a nice celebratory team dinner. We exerted their seafood tower and I’ll say it was terrible. The king crab was so small and pathetic it was like your snow crab and underdeveloped. The prawns were rubbery and tasteless and the “ceviche” was just sliced shrimp in a citrus acid liquid that was unidentifiable. It was so gross that none of us took more than one bite. Top it off with over priced drinks and waiting over 25 minutes for our check. We actually had to get up and go to the bar because our server completely disappeared. $480 for cocktails and that crappy tower and horrible service. Red Lobster tastes better. We won’t be back.
