Reasonable prices and great food. During their opening week I tried the milanesa and it was way different than I was expecting and the owner asked me for my honest feedback and refunded the plate. I’ve been back several times with my family since then and it’s always delicious. The waitress is always very kind and attentive. I highly recommend the steak ranchera, made my mouth water and I tore it up! The lemonade is amazing! The place is cute & small with clean bathrooms. They always have good, nostalgic music playing.

Family visited the zoo on Xmas eve and our daughter from out of town was craving Mexican food from home (TX). I did a quick Google search for places that were on our route home. Las Tapitias had great reviews boasting their food and customer service, both key elements for me. We arrived and it was surprisingly empty but well lit, colorful and inviting. From the moment we say down we were taken care of and served some really great Mexican food! We had a party of 8 whom are are very picky about rice, beans, etc. Everyone was beyond satisfied with the portions, flavor, and service. We’ll definitely be back!

I live up the street from here and it’s my first time here. I decided to come get something to eat and I decided on the enchiladas de queso plate. The flavor is good, the beans taste great and so does the rice. The tortillas taste home made and the chips and salsa is also good. I got a sweet tea for my drink. 10/10 recommended

This is absolutely the best mexican food in San Antonio. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. I have been going to a different restaurant on west avenue for years but the food quality has not been great so i decided to try this place and I was not disappointed! Everything from the t3a to the caldo de pollo to the beef and cheese enchiladas is fantastic. This is my new go to.
