What began as a tribute to her dream of opening a Po’boy haven has blossomed into a vibrant reality. Ms. Orange spent many years working in restaurants throughout New Orleans, mastering the art of soulful Southern cooking. Her family made a promise that she would never be forgotten and they stood firmly on that promise through family, faith, and food. My wife is from New Orleans and they are very particular about claims of new orleans food found outside of new orleans. This place passed! They are legit and add a dose of southern hospitality. Friendly staff, comfortable seating, vibrant decor. The food is great, everything I had was flavored very well. The crawfish fried rice had a bit too much soy and the bread pudding was dry, but overall fantastic. We will be coming back. And order ahead!

Highly recommend! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful all the way through to the bathroom! The service is great and so is the food! I think Everything on the menu sounds, looks and taste good. I definitely want to come back to try more things and my New Orleans boo was surprised to see they actually had “Yakamein” a real New Orleans cultural soup so there’s that! This place is truly authentic!
The daiquiris are good quality! The beignets were delicious! I got a catfish poboy that did NOT disappoint and the spicy and regular Parmesan wings and crawfish fried rice was off the hook too! And as a saucy girl I really appreciate all the sauces they included in my Togo bag and the hand sanitizers on the tables!

Never been to Louisiana & its my 1st time having what some say is authentic Louisiana cuisine.
The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were good. I think they could’ve been cheesier.
The Spicy Garlic Parmesan and Cajun Lemon Pepper are buffalo wings with the seasoning on it FYI.

My wife and I brought my parents here Sunday night. This was my second time eating here and their first time. Everything was excellent. The food was hot and well seasoned. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was beautiful from the decor to the music. The cashier was helpful. The server was gracious and checked on us just the right amount of times. My parents loved it!! We all will be coming back regularly.

The food was very good. The wings are on point with good flavor. Fried Catfish and shrimp was nice crunch outside and soft inside. Kool-aid was good not to super sweet but sweet how it should be. The daiquiries had a good hit, the fried Philly egg rolls and boudin egg rolls are very good. The corn bread was nice and soft and sweet. The owner and his family where very nice and attentive to customers. Treated everyone the same. Would be coming back.

This place is really overhyped and expensive. The food really wasn’t that good especially for the price it’s at.
I got the wings the shrimp fried rice, which was the worst. My husband got the seafood platter. He said the catfish was flavorless.(He loves catfish btw) The hush puppies had more flavor. He didn’t really finish his food, only ate the fries out of the platter. we got the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which was probably the best thing out of everything. It looks good, but looks are deceiving, This is our first time and we will not be back.
UPDATE: We end up throwing the food away and both felt really nauseous.
To respond to the owner the only thing eaten was fries and hush puppies as was stated.
This isn’t an attempt to defame, just customers leaving their Honest review because we chose to spend with your business happily. I could have said more but chose to say less. The food was very disappointing to be your best sellers for 4 years. Super upsetting to waste hard working money to still be hungry afterwards… wishing this business its continued success.

Owner was very welcoming from the moment he unlocked the doors for entry. I’m from New Orleans so I appreciated the authenticity of the menu options and the decor. Allowing out of towners to experience a piece of our culture through food. Food is made to order so you must be patient. Fish plate was filling crispy nice sized filets. Yakamein had a little spice but not overpowering. My friend had a cup of gumbo, the cup could be a little bigger to allow for more meat. Don’t leave without getting a praline candy, the level of sweet was perfect. Very photo op friendly and ample parking. Go try it out you’ll enjoy!

Thank you so much to the owner and his lovely family. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. The customer service was great and the vibe was so nice and relaxing. The food was delicious and hats off to the awesome chef! This family owned business truly made me and my family feel at home! My uncle, his wife and I arrived early and waited outside. The owner was so kind to us and allowed us to go first, which he didn’t have to do, since we had been waiting. It was worth the wait and I enjoyed myself, thank you! Wish you and your family nothing but the best!

I went to New Orleans for New Orleans food and was disappointed. It was most likely the places I tried. But I just tried Orange Lee’s and this is the best food I’ve had here in dfw. We got a variety of everything and it was all good, the beignets, the wings, the pays, the egg rolls was all good. Love it and I will be back frequently.

I finally got to try Orange Lees here in Lancaster , Tx today 9/24/2025- The decor is beautiful, the staff was really nice , the music was a VIBE, the food was delicious and let me also add the daiquiris… maannnn – ON POINT . The staff even helped us pick!!! I went with the Shrimp and Crawfish Alfredo pasta , the boudin egg rolls and the catfish with shrimp platter that comes with fries ! Everything was delicious!!! The boudin egg rolls really surprised me too !! Everything is prepared upon order so be ready to wait it’s WELL WORTH IT! I will be visiting again !! Y’all check em out !!!
