Very impressed! We went here to do an early Mother’s Day celebration with my wife and parents and we were very happy with our experience.
The happy hour specials were delicious and well priced (available until 6). My wife and I split ginger chicken plus two rolls of sushi. The ginger chicken was very flavorful and presented beautifully. The sushi was fantastic!
I would also say our server was fantastic! Megan was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. It was great to have someone guide us through menu and give recommendations.

Really tasty over-priced food with good service. All the staff was great and the waiter with the glasses, excellent. Taste is great. However, the portions are very small while begging a high price. A $17 roll with 8 skinny pieces should be about $12. A $25 Sea Bass should have been about $16 or else bring the whole fish. This is an ownership problem and no fault to anyone I probably encountered. With Sushi Tango and a Chinese buffet just up the road, this place will not last, sorry. 3 Stars for service and taste.

Very good food! The sushi is amazing and I love all the appetizers. Service is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We try to go up at least once a week. Hands down best sushi in all of Woodbury and I’d argue best in any of the suburbs. Definitely recommend

The food is very good. Some of the best sushi I’ve had. But the atmosphere and service were just wanting for something more at this price point. Better timing on food delivery, maybe a slightly better wine list. Maybe not having 3 big screens like a sports bar.

I went with 2 other girlfriends after a day of shopping around the area. We wanted a place with variety and definitely got it in the menu offered here. I ordered a shrimp pad Thai that was overall just okay. The traditional pad Thai flavor was there but just not enough of it. It was honestly a little bland. Also, I ordered the King Kong roll which was okay. It was rather bland and I had to saturate it in soy sauce for any flavor. The best item that I ordered was the chicken satay as the sauce was very flavorful. The service on the other hand felt forced and we felt ignored. We were a group of Asian girls, dressed casually/semi-dressy. We were polite and had manners. However, our table seemed to be constantly ignored. The manager was waiting on all the tables around us and making small talk/checking in on all the other tables besides ours. At one point, he came near our table, checked in on the table behind us, walked passed our table and waved down his server to come to our table. I’ve never felt so negatively profiled before in my life by another Asian. The server never introduced himself nor gave us any specials for he night like they did to other tables around us. It wasn’t until the end of our meal that the manager approached us and asked how everything was. When we left, we didn’t get a single goodbye from any of the staff, manager, or server we passed on our way out, while everyone who left before us, were all given a “have a good night” etc. They honestly can’t even blame it on being “too busy” since there weren’t many people there when we arrived. They were all standing around or sitting and prepping silverware. It wasn’t until the end of our dinner that more customers arrived. And purposely skipping our table but fluttering to all the other tables made it very obvious that we were being ignored.
Prices were okay, food was good, service made us feel marginalized.

We ate here for the first time tonight. Seemed like a pretty cool atmosphere when we walked in. Some little things stuck out as slightly off. s
The paint over spray on a few of the booths, foot prints on the seats. Nothing major, just little things you notice. I ordered some nigiri and a couple of rolls, my wife had a Thai mango shrimp dish. The sushi was excellent, fish was cut expertly, rice was seasoned well, size and shape uniform, clearly crafted by someone with experience. The Thai shrimp was delightful as well, flavor was spot on. Very nice balance of spice and sweet. Well cooked and well seasoned. Our only complaint here was 6 medium shrimp in a $20 dish seemed a bit skimpy. Service was quite slow, especially considering how empty the restaurant was. No water refills, etc. Not a deal breaker considering how good the food was, but again it’s the little things that stand out sometimes and seperate good experiences from great.

Not happy. Food was good, service was terrible. I think its the owner himself and this has happened to us before with him. He needs to be aware that his chef’s are putting out good food, but it either sits on the counter unnoticed (Sushi) or the hot food comes out medium warm. The bartender had to remind him we hadn’t been waited on after 10 minutes, so that finally brought him over to us. He forgot ice when he filled our Sake carafe, and that was on him. The Edamame took forever to arrive (just before the food) and while he told us it were fresh out of the steamer, it wasn’t (just warm). The food was good, but not piping hot and we were so hungry we just ate it and left. We saw another table waiting on their check, so it wasn’t just us. The Sushi platters look wonderful, but they sit on the counter waiting for him to pick them up. There were only 5-6 tables on a Friday night, should have been filled. We desperately want them to succeed because we need good Sushi in Woodbury, but that was a $60 night and we’ll not go back until he apologizes to his chefs and gets off the serving floor.

The service was pretty slow, but the sushi chefs are sure good at what they do. Excellent quality sushi, and tasted great. There was one waiter in the whole restaurant for about four or five tables. Our sushi sat on the counter for more than five minutes, and one sushi chef ended up having to wave down our waiter who was up front chatting with the hostess and bartender.

Fair portions for price. Great Happy Hour specials until 6pm! Seaweed salad was delish. Definitely my favorite in Woodbury. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Waitress pleasant and very good service. Going back. Pleased they deliver too.
