Got the special Roasted Sweet Onion lasagna with meatballs and chicken parmesan with fettuccine. We also got the goat cheese balls which was explosion of delicious sweet and savory. Great service and sweet environment. Got to watch a band play while we are down in the bar.

This place was sooo good and such a hidden gem, lol. Upstairs in a bar, but if you order online you can pickup with bouncer at the door. We got the spaghetti with added shrimp, caesar salad, mozz sticks, and meatball sub ! Everything was so good and prices were beyond fair. We were stuffed after . Highly recommend trying!

Marinara Miracles is a great low-key Italian spot that delivers comfort food with real flavor. The menu leans into the classics, and everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully seasoned, especially the sauces. Portions were satisfying without feeling overpriced, and the overall value is strong for the $ range. The atmosphere is casual and easygoing, and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. It’s the kind of place you can stop in for a quick meal or takeout and feel confident it’ll be consistently good, which fits the strong rating.

This is serious Italian food. Being tucked away all the way in the back I had my doubts. I just had the best meatballs and the best sauce ever. totally blown away!!!!
We talked to the owner and he’s really nice guy. he makes everything from scratch. You can tell. He’s totally passionate about it and loves doing it. I absolutely would drive an hour again just for this food alone in downtown Austin.
There are so many things on the menu that I want to try now. He says the bit risk it is smoked from another place and he makes it into ravioli. That just sounds unbelievably delicious.!!

I had the Pesto Fettuccine and it was delicious!! I would have left you have tasted the goat cheese balls but I didn’t get to do that. The couple next to me said they are very good and I’m going with that. I would definitely recommend stopping by and having a pasta dish.

Food here is phenomenal and the staff was very accommodating. Most of their options were vegetarian, but when I asked them to add meat they had no problem with it and i highly recommend. They were out of ravioli so I opted for an Alfredo pasta with chicken and it was AMAZING! The marinara meatballs are a must-try for this place. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect for a metal bar, and I respect the no f’s given attitude of this place. They do charge a cover at the bar, but we just let them know we were just here for food and they let us in no problem. Ignore all the reviews about the bouncers and weird hours. It’s a metal bar, and a small business. Don’t be so sensitive and understand you’re in their safe space. They’re doing their job keeping judgmental people OUT! And if they want to close on a weekend to take care of personal stuff, respect small business! Overall, this place was very memorable, above my expectations, and I will be going back again TONIGHT!

Loved Valhalla’s for a long time as a sanctuary on Red River, and food was the only thing it’s been missing. The kitchens new and close to something really special – enjoyed what we had and excited for them to keep improving! Start with the bruschetta, and go nuts from there!

Outrageously good homemade Italian food in a deepy casual setting. Goat cheese balls, pesto pasta and chicken parm are all top tier. This is memorable family-made food in an old school Red River setting. Can’t even post a photo bc I scraped my plate clean

Pleasantly surprised. Went here at 7:15PM and they were very busy. We had spaghetti and meatballs and a Caesar wrap.
All very good and a good value for the price.
We did take out and originally ordered thru door dash and they cancelled the order for some reason. So I’d just suggest going there and ordering.

so I don’t know the standard of Austin’s italian restaurants, but I was surprised at my experience due all the raving reviews – My husband and I came here on a whim, didn’t realize it was above a bar but became more excited upon arrival because of the potential “hidden gem” factor.. we spent around $40 on 2 plates of chicken alfredo and it literally tasted like jarred alfredo with a sliced chicken patty from the freezer section the mozz sticks were better, service was okay and seating is quite limited. i don’t know that we will be back anytime soon, but wanted to share an honest experience.. we left wishing we would’ve went elsewhere.
