My husband and I stopped in at Gaytan Kitchen while visiting family in town, and we were delighted by the experience. Hermilda, the owner, is attentive, talented, and wonderfully humble.
Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients—nothing frozen. We enjoyed the tamales, which were flavorful and comforting, and couldn’t resist taking home two loaves of banana bread, still warm from the oven.

We had such a great meal at Gaytan’s today! I ordered the loaded potato soup and a club sandwich, and the soup was honestly the best loaded potato soup I’ve ever had rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The club sandwich was fresh and delicious.
My husband had the chicken fried steak, which was cooked perfectly crispy, tender, and topped with great gravy. And the cinnamon roll… WOW. Huge, soft, and absolutely delicious.
The whole place has a “Mama’s home kitchen” feel that makes you feel welcome right away. We even met the owner and she was an absolute delight.
We’ll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we’re in Quincy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot tell you how amazing the food and service is! I love the mismatching dinnerware it just makes you feel like your at your own home table. This is such an inviting and homey place, my husband and I just moved to this town and we agreed this is our favorite restaurant we have ever been to! Cannot wait to come back!

Gaytan Kitchen Creations is a great little spot to grab a meal. While the menu is not large it changes from week to week offering both Mexican and classic America dishes. The food has a homestyle vibe that you just don’t get at most restaurants. Very satisfying meals, from birria tacos to meatloaf. It’s all good. The dessert is fantastic as well. Try it, you’ll like it.
