First time visiting Midtown Tavern, went during the day at lunch. We were sat fast and got our food pretty fast as well. We ordered the Philly steak egg rolls, the cauliflower nuggets and fries. The cauliflower was really good! Steak egg rolls & fries were ok. Would definitely come back.

My food and drink were horrible. I ordered the jumbo wings, which were barely small. They were supposed to be buffalo and garlic parm flavored. They lacked seasoning, flavor, and heat. I ordered a lemon drop martini made with tequila instead of vodka, and it tasted like overly sugared kool-aide. I was visiting from Michigan and have friends who stay in Charlotte. I told them not to eat there.

We went for a drag brunch for my son’s birthday. The drag show was amazing. HOWEVER, the service left much to be desired. Firstly, when we got there I told the bartender (our server) when I ordered a bottle of champagne if it was more than $40 I didn’t want it, I’d prefer a single glass, as the prices weren’t listed. She EVENTUALLY brought a bottle. I assumed it was within my budget and ended up ordering another. The two bottles alone were $96. The service was so slow!! I understand being in a rush, but no communication was established with our table. I can see reason, of course, and be patient if you just communicate with us. When she eventually came to take our order she skipped over my partner and I. I had to go to the bar as she was ringing it in to add to our check. The show was fabulous but the servers took care of us as our bartender seemed to be too overwhelmed to even consider us. Overall I would not recommend this place. It’s not worth it for the price.

Great spot! Was headed to the Metallica concert and found this restaurant through the Marriott Eat Around Town app.
When I walked in there was only 1 guy at the bar and the waitress. Wasn’t quite dinner time so figured it hadn’t picked up yet.
I ordered the salmon BLT wrap. It was great! Reasonably priced to get salmon in a wrap with a side. Tasted fresh and flavorful.
The waitress was kind and attentive. She kept my glass refilled and checked on me regularly.
The atmosphere was inviting and I imagine it is pretty busy from dinner through the night. It was clean and so were the restrooms. If you’re in the area and want a place that offers a decent variety on their menu stop in! You’ll enjoy it.

I ordered a pizza from here off DoorDash! The pizza came cold and not like warm! NO! Cold as if the pizza had been sitting out and was just put in a box when I ordered! The pizza is dry and barely has any cheese! When I called to speak to a manager Jerome got on the phone and had the audacity to blame the DoorDash driver. This pizza doesn’t even look like any of the pics the restaurant or other DoorDash customers posted! Then Jerome took audacity even further when after I hung up decided to call me back to further more blame the DoorDash driver. This pizza is cold and hard as if it came out the refrigerator! This is the worse pizza I ever had in my life! We ended up reordering from Dominos and throwing this cardboard in the trash!

drag brunch was fun, service was awful. it was over an hour until i had to walk up to bar to ask if we could order food. server literally could not provide basic needs, a guest at our table literally had to separate the checks for him because he was clueless. $6 mimosas was ONE sip of champagne. out of omelets for brunch? very disappointed. would attend drag show again but would not go back to restaurant.

Atmosphere is great. Bartender was busy on her cell to pay attention – mimosas were weak (actually saw her pour 1.5 measured shot of champagne and rest OJ), second drink I ordered was wrong, brunch food ordered was missing items. Manager guy was great! If they replaced the bartender and checked their food to ensure it was as listed this place would be great!

Raven was awesome in taking care of our table. Service was topnotch and she always had a smile.
The food was on point and cooked as requested. The Bull Burger is great if you like an egg with your burger. The Ruben Roll was fabulous. It’s a homemade corned beef and sauerkraut egg roll that’s cut in half and well balanced. Highly recommended. The fish and chips were good and the fillets were thick and juicy.

When my wife and I were looking for a place to eat tonight we did a lot of checking around. Every place we looked at had really great reviews and very bad reviews. We saw the menu here and the pictures and thought it was a good choice. Highly recommend you go by here and give it a try. Ask for Raven on Sunday night!

My girls and I went here for drag branch for a birthday celebration that we were so so excited for. We were seated and we did not have a server for 35 minutes not even waters on the table. We had to go up to the bar to request a server to come over and then had to wait another 5 minutes for the server to get to us. We ended up leaving so I can’t speak on the food but we reserved this brunch spot weeks ago and you would think they would be ready but they were not.

We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and support a local business. Service initially was great, but then a larger party arrived, and the salads that were supposed to be there before the meal came after the entrees. Two of the three burgers were prepared as ordered, but a well done burger, which was for the birthday man, was cooked rare and he ordered it well done. They fixed it, and he enjoyed it. Once the orders were placed, the wait time for all things was long. One member of our party ordered honey BBQ wings, but he was not pleased with the flavor of the chicken. I had the glazed salmon, and was disappointed in the serving size. I was still hungry when i finished my meal. All things- food, condiments, desert, to go boxes, and the check. During the wait time, I tried to watch the game, but due to the wired thingamagig, I did not have a clear view of the screen. It felt like, they had one cook, one waitress, and one bartender. My daughter was almost in tears because she was hungry, and it took so long for the food to arrive. We will not be back.
