Thank you to the Circe Providence staff for an amazing celebration of my daughter’s birthday on Saturday night. She fell in love with the “disco ball table” when she spotted it eating lunch at Circe this past summer and “had to have it” for her “Dancing Queen”-themed dinner celebration. The food, drinks and dessert pleased all in our party – ages 4 to 89! We had a large party and we were perfectly accommodated – service was prompt, friendly and attentive as was the host who originally helped me book my rather complicated seating request (exceptional experience). My guests loved their meals, my kids ate lamb lollipops for the first time, and everyone left full, happy and talking about the awesome Odyssey package. You made my girl’s vision come to life – thank you so much!

In from Galveston, TX to visit family and friends. Jessica took great care of us. Atmosphere is awesome. Steak was cooked perfect. Wedge salad was awesome and the best we ever had; very unique. The pasta dish was not Boston North End fresh and mussels a bit over cooked; I personally prefer white wine garlic sauce. As I understand it, they just opened so only offering some opinion on how to improve and survive in a tough market.

Wow! That was the word of the evening. Circe is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Disco balls and club music have people dancing in their seats. The music is loud, but you are able to have a table conversation without hearing the table next to you. Every plate was…”wow”.

We came for date night at the end of restaurant week. Our server, Antonio, was very attentive. My husband chose from the restaurant week pre fixed, he got the lamb lollipops, short rib entree with parmesan risotto, and profiteroles. I got the strawberry cheesecake martini, saganaki, and Maine lobster risotto. Everything was executed perfectly. The strawberry cheesecake martini was like drinking strawberry ice cream. The saganaki was a show because it is flambeed tableside. The Maine lobster risotto had 4 whole lobster claws in it! They were small lobster claws, but still, 4! The short rib was extremely tender, and so were the lamb lollipops. The profiteroles were just meh, but they were one of the only options on the restaurant week menu that wasn’t coffee flavored somehow. Another diner dropped a glass from the second floor to the first and the staff handled it very professionally. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food that we received. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival.

My husband and I had another incredible experience celebrating our anniversary at Circe! Our server, Antonio, was awesome! He was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and our steaks were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend!!!

It’s a good spot that stays open later than most places in the area but with really good food. I’ve come back multiple times in one week.
Loved almost everything I’ve had here. The charcuterie board comes with soft boiled eggs and toasts.
I like the lighting in the evening ; nice and dim but I did see some people needing their phone lights to see the menu. I thought it was perfect lighting though.
Great mashed potatoes. Very creamy and maybe whipped?
The prices of some items are reasonable and others are a bit more expensive. Fries were $9 and they were great but I just think that’s an odd price for that.
It does get really loud in here at night on weekends as they try to transition into more of a bar.
Parking is obviously a bit difficult but they seem to offer valet services and I chose to walk instead. It’s also not far from the bus for easy public transportation.
You should make a reservation if you decide to come here during popular times like Friday-Saturday nights but most other times are fine.

Circe is, without question, the best restaurant in all of Providence and arguably all of Rhode Island. From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional, polished, and elevated. We went here last night before a show at the PPAC. The outside was quiet and reserved, but man once you opened the door the atmosphere became alive. The decor is amazing and eye catching first and foremost. the staff immediately greated us and confirmed our reservation and sat us. Our waiter came right over and took care of our drinks and apps, explained specials, then took our orders. He asked us if we were going to the show, and made sure that we would not be late on the restaurants behalf. This attentiveness to detail was not only recognized by all of our group but gave us a great respect for him as an individual and the establishment to have their staff personalize each experience to this level. Food was great both visually and by taste. Would definitely recommend to friends and return again if we are in the area. Thank you!
