People flock over here for their donuts but trust me they have even better Tamales. While their donuts are bomb, i often get their tamales and devour them for breakfast. Freshly made, warmed and perfect with a side of hot sauce is how I prefer them. The minute you walk-in, you see a huge display of freshly made donuts and there is a huge variety to choose from. There certainly is something for everyone.

Super yummy donuts!! So soft and fluffy I went at 5pm on a Friday and was impressed by how many flavors they still had in stock. Definitely recommend if you’re in need of a donut in the Olympia/tumwater/lacey area! We ate ours too fast for a nice picture

I agree that this place has such a unique selection of fritters that we have tried before a couple times. Our family’s biggest deterrent is that every time we’ve come by, there are fruit flies, especially around the fritters (top shelf). This morning we just couldnt excuse it anymore and left to check out Heavenly donuts instead to see if they had the same issue. They had less of a unique selection of fritters but at least, no fruit flies in site. The owners are very nice but the fruit flies issue needs to be fixed. Or still fixed since we’ve seen there was a review regarding it before.

Their donuts are excellent and their cream puffs are some of the best I’ve ever had. They have milk and the staff are friendly and kind and I think they have coffee too. I haven’t tried their donut cakes yet but that’s next on my list.

I’ve been here a couple times, and I am impressed with the donuts. I went again recently, and tried the apple fritter and the glaze. In my opinion, those are the two most important representations of a place’s donuts. Both of these donuts were five star. I’ve included pictures of them. I went early in the morning, so they were fresh and really were great examples. The atmosphere is OK for a donut shop, not cozy enough for me. I only gave the food 4-stars because I did not see many if any cake donuts which really limits their options, and they offer some over-icing examples: I saw a chocolate donut with what appeared to be globs of peanut butter plopped on top, among other options that made me think their icing game was trying to overshadow their donut game, which is a no-no for me. But really, the two I had were excellent donuts. My only recommendation for the apple fritter is to increase the apple content. I didn’t have many bites with anything I recognized as apple.

I’m not a big fan of donuts and I should disclose that upfront. I got these donuts for several people. I think they were about average donuts. I did see tamales on the menu and after talking to the person working there, they are very proud of their tamales. I plan to return to try them. I would not return for donuts.
