I ordered the Shrimp Alvino as I aways do at Idabel. It was nothing like Idabel. Or any other Romas Ive been to. The sauce was thick like gravy and slimy in texture. There was about a cup of garlic on top of the plate. It tasted nothing like the fresh light lemony flavor of the shrimp alvino of Idabel. My lunch dates dish also wasnt properly prepared either. When she brought it to their attention, they argued the recipe and how to properly cook food. At this point, not wanting to argue, and with the incredibly thick slimy nature of my sauce and the fact I could taste nothing but garlic I elected to not eat anymore as it was a shellfish plate. I sent the entire plate back as inedible. There were no questions to satisfaction or if there were any issues. Even upon checkout I was not asked anything about why I sent a full plate back to the kitchen and was paying over $50 for lunch for 2 when neither of us ate and sent both plates back full. Will not return to this location, will not recommend this location. If this isnt a privately owned restaurant then the chain of Romas needs to look into this place. Go to Idabel!! Its a true hidden gem of McCurtain County!!!

This was literally some of the best Italian food I’ve had! The service was amazing, and the prices you can’t beat. If you are in Hugo, do yourself a favor and go check them out!

My husband are from the Salem Oregon area and were visiting family when we stopped in here. We were both completely surprised to find this gem in a small town when we can’t find decent Italian in our area at all. The food was delicious and staff were prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Drove from Texas to Oklahoma to try out this restaurant. Lots of seating available. Quick and courteous service. Lots of great food options. Fresh free bread basket to start, which was very tasty. Luigi the owner was welcoming and friendly. Great dinner experience.

For being in a small town, the food is outstanding and high quality. The rolls are amazing, and the prices are very affordable as well. If ever out that way again, we will definitely stop by.

I thought the food was amazing. They were fairly busy, but I still felt the service was a little lacking. Based on how busy the atmosphere was a little dry
They could have jazzed the place up a hair and I’m not a big fan of over atmosphere. So to speak.
An offer of a wine list or a mention of no wine list would have made a difference. They seemed a little too busy.
For us considering the amount of actual full tables

This place is delicious! Stopped in for lunch and didn’t break the bank. I got the pasta sampler 8/10 and my boyfriend got the baked ziti 10/10. We had excellent service and didn’t have to wait long. The lunch special comes with bread, salad, and of corse pasta. Definitely try this place when your in town you won’t be disappointed!

This was a surprisingly good small town Italian place. I don’t know how authentic I would consider it but it was definitely good. Garlic rolls tasted homemade. Chicken parm and tortellini were cooked well and the gravy’s were decent. The house salad dressing was different but I really like it. Portions were huge. We will definitely be back if ever in the area
