sincerely a happy customer!
Several servers passed us numerous times with none of them greeting us or even making eye contact. Rather ignored us.
Finally, 15 mins the host came and asked us if we’d like a beverage. Then shared who our server would be & would be with us shortly. He did 5 mins later and was one of the servers who passed us at least 6x without acknowledging our presence.
Ordered. Food was ok. Arrived disjointed. Immediately asked for a bit more marinara sauce. It arrived when the meal was half over. Asked for water refills 3x, water arrived at the end of our meal and was tempid, like it came from a sink. Dishes not cleared from our table. Asked for to go boxes 3x. Got the bill and prices were different. Server said boxes of new menus had just been opened and I must have gotten an older menu. Said the manager would come to visit with us. No one came. Paid and left.
A little lunch took over 1 1/2 hrs.
Several visits to this location have all been poor. Have no desire to return.
Shocking I know all 5’s and I never give all 5’s!!!!

I hadn’t been to an Olive Garden for over 20 years (last time was also with my parents), and do not usually eat at chain restaurants. I was first impressed by how nice the interior design and decor of the restaurant was. I wasn’t sure if I was actually at an Olive Garden or an upscale independent restaurant.
My preconceived ideas of eating at an Olive Garden were quickly erased once we were seated.
As someone who worked in restaurants and hospitality for many, many years, I know what great service looks like and our waiter Paul was excellent on every level. His friendliness, positive attitude and attention to detail were outstanding.
The salad was much better than I remembered and the mix of olives and tomatoes was a nice addition. I ordered the ravioli and my wife ordered the salmon, and both were delicious.
Overall, it was a great experience and changed my impression of eating at an Olive Garden I hope other locations can meet the same level of quality that we experienced at the Eagan restaurant.
Again, kudos to Paul, we was great!
If you have any issues with online ordering of catering it’s probably easier just to pick up the phone and call and talk to a person. Coming from experience.
The restaurant wasn’t busy and I asked for a booth. I had to wait to be seated, as the hostess seemed hesitant to give me a booth, despite the restaurant being not busy at all. She had to check with someone for me to be seated. She finally managed to seat me in a small booth.
I was immediately pressed by the waitress to order right away, which I did. I ordered the steak gorgonzola pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and a salad.
The salad came, and after eating the small portion quite quickly, (I was hungry) I would have liked to have been offered a refill on the breadsticks and especially the salad, but I never was.
My silverware was very, dirty, and I asked for a new set, as I found that to be pretty disgusting and unappetizing. The second set I got was even worse. Additionally, finding spoiled lettuce in the salad was also quite unpleasant. Had I not been so hungry, I would have probably sent it back.
The manager came to my table at one point and asked if I would like plastic ware. (I was thinking, plastic ware, really??? How about clean silverware? Is that too much to ask for in any restaurant?) I told him I would just hold on to my salad fork, which I had cleaned as best as I could with water and my dinner napkin. The pasta dish I ordered was so-so. It did not have any sun-dried tomatoes in it, as specified on the menu, and I could not see or taste any gorgonzola, either. The meat was quite chewy, which I had ordered medium-well.
I also noticed that pasta portions have become much smaller than they used to be, despite pretty significant price increases.
Overall, this was a disappointing dining experience and the service from the hostess and manager, as well as the waitress, left much to be desired. in my humble opinion, Olive Garden has really gone downhill. It just isn’t what it used to be. I did send feedback to their corporate office and no one responded.
